I have moved many times and I am so pleased to have found Garttmeyer Moving Co.! This time I moved 700 miles to another state! They took great care with my belongings, clearly communicated, kept in touch and did what they said they were going to do! Nothing broken, nothing lost, no last minute “ hidden” charges! Great people, professionals with integrity! Highly recommend!

Fantastic move. The crew was neat, clean and super quick- but took the time to really protect furniture and appliances. There was nothing even scratched in the move and we had three trucks and 8 movers. Again, can’t say enough good things about Garttmeyer, highly recommended!

My wife and I needed movers to go from our apartment to our new home. The last few movers we used were terrible; bad communication, dented our walls, dropped a mirror, inflated the price after the fact, you name it. We decided to go with Garttmeyer Moving and Storage and couldn’t be happier. Austin got back to me right away any time I reached out or had a question. They showed up on time, were super polite, didn’t damage anything, and moved efficiently without complaint. They treated my possessions as if they were their own and wrapped and handled everything with great care. The professionalism we experienced was unparalleled and I will use them and recommend them for any move. Thank you again for such a great experience!

5 stars isn't enough for Garttmeyer.
Austin came out to provide an estimate for packing and moving. He was very focused, took a look at everything and gave me a price very close to the other companies I contacted. I went with Garttmeyer because I got a good feeling, and their movers always look like they enjoy their work when I pass them on the street. (BTW, that's how I found out about them) .
The movers arrived on time in a clean moving truck with a positive attitude. They carefully packed everything, moved it and delivered it without any damage. I started emptying boxes as they moved everything in. They took the empty boxes, taking away a major headache.
Best of all, they only charged me what they said they would.

We recently moved from Pennsylvania toVirginia and used Garttmeyer moving and storage company. From the outset, they were very responsive. We heard back from them almost immediately after making an inquiry and they sent a representative to speak to us in person. Nina from their office coordinated all the details expertly. We had a crew of highly trained, professional men help us pack all of our stuff. They really knew what they were doing and were wonderful. The next day was moving day and everything went smoothly once again. On the other end in Virginia a great crew delivered all of our stuff, put together our bed, book shelves and tv set ups, etc, etc and once again did a great job! Thank you to everybody at Garttmeyer for their outstanding service. A+++

We were delighted in every respect with the service provided by Garttmeyer movers. There were no surprises and no damages. The men who packed our belongings were professional, courteous and diligent, and they worked continuously until everything was done. (They even asked permission to use the restroom! ) When they moved us into our new home, they unpacked all the garment boxes and many of the boxes of breakables. We highly recommend this moving company.
