Found this place just by looking at Google Maps, and walked in. Everyone was extraordinarily friendly, like I had been a regular rather than a stranger. My stylist was Caroline, and she was AMAZING. I'm always wary of going to a new place because I tend to like more modern, punk, androgynous cuts, and sometimes stylists won't want to do that. But Caroline was super into it and I was so glad! She really took the time to understand the details about what kind of style I wanted, and she took the time to make sure that every piece of the cut looked good, working it in to my existing color. She explained what she was doing as well, which really made all the difference to me. And I absolutely LOVE my new hair.

Absolutely the best salon I’ve been to! From the minute you walk in the door, everyone is so friendly and warm and that’s what makes the experience so great. Melanie is an amazing colorist and Jen gave me the best cut I’ve had in years. My wife Nora was a happy customer who suddenly passed away. When the staff found out they were devastated. Caroline offered to do her hair for the viewing and Lonnie spent an entire day cleaning my house to prepare for the gathering after the funeral. Deb and Tara were also wonderful to me. Not only the best hair salon but also 1st class human beings who loved my wife and now me! I have no words but to say I love all of you!

I have been going here for over 17 years and it’s AMAZING! It’s recently been taken over under new ownership and I can’t speak high enough about them! I LOVE THIS SALON!! I can't tell you how many times I hear, "I love your hair" after Caroline has worked her magic! She is an expert stylist and a lovely person. Everyone is so welcoming and you feel catered to with the best coffee/tea , wine, biscotti, granola bars, chocolate covered pretzels and more. The salon is beautifully designed in creams, silver and black. The owner couldn't be nicer or more accommodating (she patched me up when I came in with a cut after falling on my brick walkway)! My mom has been coming to Fringe Hair Salon for years now because of Caroline her friend and hair dresser. I am always worried to try new places, but I knew I could trust the ladies here at Fringe to take care of my hair properly and make it look amazing! I wouldn’t always know what to ask for when getting my hair done, but I would ask their opinions and advice and sure enough my hair always looked the best it has been every time I walk out of the salon. Everyone is very kind and it is a very welcoming friendly environment. Not to mention, they always have complementary snacks and drinks available! Great Salon with a friendly atmosphere. I made an app to get my dry hair cut and colored and walked out with Silky smooth hair. A big thank you to stylist Caroline! She did an amazing job. I was so happy with my experience, brought my daughter in. She got her hair curled for a dance and she looked amazing. Caroline curled her thick long hair and the curls lasted all night long. Thank you Fringe and thank you Caroline for making us look and feel great!

I just start going to Fringe in August 2022 after a long search for a new salon. I went to the same salon in center city for almost 20 years and it closed in 2020–pandemic. Fringe has a perfect energy of chic, sophisticated, yet super chill and relaxed. Not pretentious but very professional and also very clean. I have been seeing Caroline and she has nailed my cuts each time—I love how she does my hair. I am so happy I found Fringe. Ah and I can’t forget about the front desk. This is the best Hair Salon I have ever been too. The place is so comforting and feels at home. I came here for the first time in summer to do coloring after having some really bad experiences in the past. Caroline did my hair the best it has ever been. I just finished a touch up and it is even better than the first time. The cut is also amazing, not short which sometimes can happen. This salon meets every expectation that you would want for your hair. I recommend this salon, especially Caroline, for all people of age, no matter your style or color.
