I recently had to take my cat to the vet after a long time, and I was pretty anxious about it. From the moment I called to book the appointment, the staff was incredibly friendly and supportive. I wasn't sure what was wrong with my cat, which made me even more nervous. Thankfully, she has fully healed and is better than ever! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Fruman and the entire team for making this experience as pleasant as possible. Highly recommend!

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone. It feels like they're just in it for the money. They charge for every little thing—seriously, $5 if your dog has an accident in their office? That's ridiculous. I feel like I was constantly overpaying for subpar care. Unfortunately, my dog didn't make it after our visits here, and I can't help but feel it's because they were more focused on profit than actually helping her. Do your pet a favor and find a better vet who genuinely cares.

I just recently started bringing my cats to this clinic because Dr. Bethany Fruman recently joined it. The staff has been welcoming and good with my animals. The facility itself is brand new and very nice, with a large waiting room and large exam rooms. They always have snacks available for the (human) clients. Dr. Fruman has given my old cats who have some serious illnesses excellent care.

I am beyond impressed with the care and expertise at Companions First. Our dog, Zoey, had struggled with bad breath for the past five years, but thanks to Dr. Leia, she’s no longer stinky. Dr. Leah's attention to detail and her ability to understand Zoey's needs without relying solely on our observations made all the difference. It's clear she genuinely connects with her animal patients, which is crucial since dogs can't tell us what’s wrong.
Nilla, our other dog, had been suffering from constant itchiness for years. Despite giving her 2 Apoquils and Benadryl daily, as advised by our previous vet, she found no relief. Dr. Leia's approach was different, and now Nilla only needs one pill a day and is no longer itchy all the time. Her quality of life has drastically improved, and we are incredibly grateful for that.
Dr. Leia and the entire team at Companions First have shown remarkable dedication and compassion. We are deeply thankful for their outstanding care and highly recommend them to anyone seeking the best for their pets.

Caring, attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful building and grounds. Well lit, clean and fresh. They encourage letting your furry family members loose in the exam rooms. See pics of my cat, Edward, waiting his turn. He kept trying to get up on the sink to drink water. When our vet came in, she lifted him up and turned on the water for him.
Speaking of... Dr. Fruman is above and beyond all other vets... Ever... Period. She is thorough, kind, and passionate about her work and the animals under her care. I'm fortunate to have met her and Edward's life is better because of it.

We took our cat there for the first time today and I'm so happy we did! Doctor Leia was extremely knowledgeable and took her time with my scaredy-cat! I look forward to bringing my other fur babies.

This will always be my "go to" Vet..Dr. Leia is the best. Dr. & tech came into the room, immediately sat on the floor & spent time with Sunshine. My mother takes her dog here and after I saw how wonderful the doctor was with her dog and answering questions, I decided to make an appointment for our new puppy. After waiting 35 minutes for my appointment, I was finally put into a room where I waited another 25 minutes. Nobody came in to apologize for running late or ask if I wanted to reschedule. I asked how much longer it would be or if we should come back and again I got an "I don't know". After another 15 minutes of sitting there, we left. Again, nobody apologized or even followed up to apologize for having us wait that long. I understand things happen and there are emergencies but the communication and accountability was terrible, especially for a first visit.
I reluctantly scheduled another appointment and forgot about it and then they had the nerve to bill me for a no call/no show literally 20 minutes after my appointment time. Funny how quickly they move then.

We have used Companions First Vet Clinic for years! Dr Leia and the staff are absolutely wonderful! I have personally watched them go above and beyond for our dogs many times! Cannot imagine going anywhere else!

Dr. Leia and her staff are incredibly kind and personable. Dr. Leia guided us through our dog's Roxey lymphoma journey, and when the end was near, she answered questions over email and phone and always made time in her busy schedule to help us. She is wonderful with our other three dogs -- two with complex medical issues. She takes the time to make you feel like a partner in medical care, and she speaks honestly but with great compassion. My husband and I are so appreciative of her care and support.
