“I got into my car after work and as I was driving I noticed my battery light indicator on. I wasn't going to make it home with the issue and pulled into J and S at 4:45pm. They informed me that they were about to close. I explained my situation and not only did they look at my car to inform me it was the alternator, but also stayed open to fix the issue. After all was said and done the cost was beyond reasonable. Since that point they have worked on my vehicles, coworkers vehicles and company vehicles. They are accommodating, fair, professional and responsive to any questions and concerns. In today's day and age it's hard to find an honest and reasonable mechanic, but I was fortunate when my alternator crapped the bed.”

“When our 2004 Odyssey minivan decided it was time to get a new radiator, it found a very dramatic way to let go of the old one. Granted, a 14 year-old radiator with 198k is due a well-deserved retirement party, but the party for this one included I-81 near Montage, the left-hand lane, 75 MPH, and a thunderous explosion of antifreeze, steam, and several frightened children. Kudos for getting what's yours. You earned it. Rick at the Harford Garage found himself in possesion of said van on a Monday morning- after we had headed home from our cabin in Harford on Sunday- and after a quick diagnosis, we realized that Rick and his new radiator would allow the van to live to see another day. Within three days it was done, and the Honda was ready to resume its duties as the family hauler...until the trans would let go 6 months later and seal its fate. Rick was quick, and the price was more than fair. It's good to know that when you are between rock and a hard place, people like Rick won't gouge you. While we've been lucky that our monthly trips to Harford have been relatively issue free, it's good to know that local shops still are available to serve their community well. 5 stars for Harford Garage!”

“Ryan got me in same day due to my time constraint. Had my 86 year old mom’s car and the brakes were pulsating. Diagnosed problem and we decided to wait to replace rotors since pads were still in good shape. He checked the wheel bearings as well. I expected to pay at least a diagnostic fee but Ryan said no charge. Will definitely go back to him when I’m here at our mountain house and need a good trusted mechanic. Thanks again, Ryan!”
