Awesome place to get your Chocolate Fix from their retail store located at their manufacturing plant! Love their huge selection of delicious Chocolate Candies that you can pick out and create you own box. Love their Liquid Smoothies including the Peanut Butter, Fudge and Mint Flavors! Plenty of flavors to choose from. They also sell a nice selection of Jelly Belly Products too. Friendly Staff and Fast Service. They always treat their customers with a Smile!

Very nice chocolates, but when ordered on December 15th as Christmas presents for various extended family members, they didn't arrive until December 30th. I really expected 10 days would be enough lead time to get them there on time.

I was soooo disappointed in this Company (ASHER) because my box of chocolate pretzels arrived BROKEN INTO many PIECES...Isn't it UNSANITARY for the pretzels not tobe sealed in plastic ??...Had to throw the whole box away....

So I went in to purchase chocolates. I bought $70 worth. I asked for two extra paper bags as they are gifts for other people, so a total of three bags. The cashier told me it costs .50 cents per bag for extra bags. What a joke. I spent $70 on candy and they want more money for paper bags that get thrown away? The service was ok, a very helpful young man behind the counter but other than that the employees were not very happy (maybe over worked? it was only 10:00 am roughly). I just can't believe the extra charge with spending that much. I will definitely never be shopping here again nor will I ever purchase their products from a retailer moving forward.

Love Ashers , but last visit was disappointing. We asked for dark chocolate almond bark, we we're given a box of milk chocolate. When we went back to ask for exchanged, we we're meant we attitude. They seemed to be more worried about who gave it to us. No sorry for inconvenience, etc.In the end was finally even correct box.

I have shopped with Asher's for 10 years or so. Their people are courteous, polite, knowledgeable and want to help in any way they can. Their chocolates appear in many commercial candy stores but often their name is not advertised -- you just know from the exquisite taste and the appearance (of course you can confirm with the store management). So there may be the convenience of local outlets for Asher's chocolates but you won't have the pleasure of working with Asher's staff. In each of the several orders that I have placed, the candies arrive in a timely manner and in perfect condition. In the warmer months, the candies are protected by shipping in dry ice and coolers. Orders may be placed online or by calling one of Asher's retail stores. The retail stores have helped me find candies that I can't find or are not available online and they gift wrap.

The minute you walk into this store you are quickly transported back to childhood as you inhale the sweet smell of chocolate. Allow yourself plenty of browsing time, as there is much to so much to see! I went in looking for the perfect hostess gift for Thanksgiving and had many wonderful options. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I definitely will be back for Christmas! They had beautiful holiday cards at a very reasonable cost. Thank you Darlene for your help!

I haven't received my order yet, but I KNOW it's going to be perfect! Val, in the Lewistown Store, helped me navigate through the best way to order the quantities of chocolates I needed AND the best way to ship to Atlanta. Val helped make my first order with Asher's exciting and not stressful ... and for that, I send her a virtual hug!

Asher's Chocolate in Soudertown, Pennsylvania, possessed a humble storefront that concealed treasures crafted with utmost finesse. The company store, a haven for chocolate enthusiasts, beckoned passersby with promises of remarkable deals on delectable chocolates and candies. On Saturdays, when the sun hung high in the sky, Asher's exemplified its commitment to the community. As if by magic, the store transformed into a lively hub of excitement and camaraderie. A symphony of tantalizing aromas filled the air, tempting all who ventured near. Conshohocken Brewing, a local gem in its own right, found a temporary home within Asher's premises. Its offerings of finely brewed spirits seemed to harmonize effortlessly with the rich flavors of Asher's chocolates. Together, they created a picturesque fusion of taste and tradition. Adjacent to the brewery, a vibrant beer garden emerged, inviting residents and visitors alike to revel in merriment. Patrons gathered, their laughter and conversation merging into a delightful symphony that resonated throughout the town. But it wasn't just the beer and chocolate that enticed the weary souls. A local food truck, Los Catrinas Tacos, bestowed upon hungry customers a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine. The tantalizing scent of sizzling meats and vibrant spices permeated the air, making taste buds dance in anticipation. In this charming spectacle of community support, Asher's Chocolate stood tall as the thread that wove it all together. As the laughter and cheer echoed through the streets of Soudertown, one couldn't help but be captivated by the spirit of unity and celebration that Asher's had cultivated. In the heart of Pennsylvania, Asher's Chocolate and its companions tastefully blended tradition, flavor, and camaraderie. It was a place where indulgence met community support, where dreams were made sweeter, and where memories were forged in the comfort of chocolate, ales, and tacos.

Visited today for the first time. the factory tour is by appointment only so make a reservation before your visit. However, if you don't have a reservation, you can see one of the actual factory production lines by visiting the candy store right around the corner from the main entrance to the factory. You can see the double dipping of the candy center and the two cooling tunnels the conveyor belts travel through. At the end of the line are those collecting and packaging the chocolates just like Lucy and Ethel. (Let's see who gets that one!)The candy store is worth the visit alone with chocolate covered pretzels, potato chips and graham crackers. Make your own box mixed with all sorts of milk and dark chocolate candies with various centers. For those needing sugar free items, there is an abundance to choose from!Well worth a visit.

We've tried many different chocolates over the years, but none are as consistently delicious as Asher's!!! The pretzels, peanut butter cups, almond bark, giant chocolate covered marshmallow... all THE BEST! And the customer service is top notch as well. So lucky to have them in our area.
