My girlfriend and I had a fantastic trip to this bed and breakfast. Holly had the place looking phenomenal onenal and gave us the history of the building when we arrived. She provides complimentary scotch or wine as well as snacks and drinks in the room fridge. Our ream was spacious and clean and had a wonderful tile shower and snug electric fireplace. The inn is located conveniently iently 25 minutes away from several towns including Kane and Bradford, where we took day trips to. I'd stay here again and recommend it to anyone who enjoys bed and breakfasts.

I must say that this was an experience to remember!! My husband and I came up for our one year anniversary for some outdoor adventure! Within 2 hours of the bed and breakfast is Cherry Springs (best place to see the stars on the east coast), the Kinzua Sky Bridge (GORGEOUS), and the oh so wonderful Niagara Falls. However, this bed and breakfast was also an adventure! Holly is probably the sweetest lady alive, breakfast was delivered to the room and was absolutely delicious, and we felt so cared for! You can tell that this business means a lot to the owners because they truly give 100% into every little detail. Thank you all so much for making our anniversary so special ❤️

Super bed and breakfast with exceptional host and breakfast!! Would recommend to anyone headed this way in the fall season. Learned a little history about the area and spent some time with a very welcoming host. Scotch, wine, snacks and cookies to welcome us were a nice touch

My husband and I stayed at Mansion District Inn this past weekend for a getaway to Northern PA and Kinzua Bridge. We had a fabulous time, and the Inn is beautiful.Holly, the Innkeeper, is an amazing person and exudes a beautiful energy. She is so welcoming, knowledgeable, talented, intelligent, accommodating and KIND – everything you could want in an innkeeper and person. Upon check-in, our names were on the “Welcome” board – a sweet touch. The Inn itself is lovely and has such a neat history. My husband and I enjoyed exploring the home and all its detail. The majority of the home is still original from 1891. We stayed in the McCandless suite, and it has every accommodation needed for a comfortable stay – including a stocked mini fridge and snacks, robes, ample seating areas, comfortable bedding, several TVs and environmentally-friendly bath products. Breakfasts served by Holly were a highlight! Holly accommodated our vegetarian request with ease – with much of the food and garnishes coming from her garden. I am still thinking about the amazing quiche and apple pastries! ????Holly also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. We’d highly recommend both Table 105 and 4 Mile Brewing (Olean, NY) for dinner when in the area. The Inn is also in a central location to Kinzua State Park (the reason for our trip) and we HIGHLY recommend a visit to the Kinzua Bridge overlook and the hike below the bridge. It’s so cool that they allow you to hike through the wreckage and up to the other side. The views from the overlook are outstanding.Overall, we enjoyed our time in PA Wilds immensely, look forward to returning and will absolutely stay at Mansion District Inn when we do.Holly – Thank you for everything. It was a sincere pleasure to meet you, and we look forward to our paths hopefully crossing again in the future!

My husband and I spent two nights at the Mansion District Inn for our anniversary in April 2022. Holly made our arrival warm and personal. We were given a brief history of the house and offered a complimentary drink. Scotch (which happened to be the original owner's preferred drink) wine, coffee, tea and homemade cookies in the parlour! We stayed in the McCandless Executive Suite. The bed was comfy with a window seat and a double sided electric fireplace which was shared with the sitting room. Holly's breakfasts were awesome. Both days we were treated to a different delectable meal. A meal because you certainly do not walk away hungry from breakfast! Thank you Holly for a pleasant, quiet stay. Kelly and Rich

Nicely kept and appointed inn with wonderful amenities. The inn itself is spectacular with very nicely done furnishings and artwork. The suite is large and there is a surround sound stereo, but we couldn’t figure it out. The bed is comfortable and overall everything was great. There is a small fridge in the room and it was stocked Ickes with a few complementary drinks.
A few minor issues not the innkeepers fault- there is only one pretty bad Chinese restaurant in town or a supermarket which has a deli. There is a franchise pizza place as well. You have to park in back and it’s not an easy hike up to the front door.
Breakfast was fantastic and prompt. I give kudos to a woman owned business that was able to survive in these difficult times please support her by staying here.
This is. A very scenic area and in close proximity to the kinzua skywalk and other day to do trips.

I stayed with my mom for Mother's Day. Holly the inn keeper is amazing. She shared the history of the home with us and answered all of our questions about the area. The library is beautiful. We received complimentary beverages in the evening as well as a fully stocked fridge. Breakfast was wonderful and felt truly like we were dining with the original owners of the home. Breathtaking views of the hills topped off our experience. For history lovers or those who just want a tailored and extravagant stay, this is a great stop. Great price too.

Mrs. Holly is a WONDERFUL host! She is an exquisite cook, the pumpkin spice pancakes are extremely delicious! She is very kind and makes you feel right at home! Very accommodating! I've never been to a bed and breakfast before and being that I'm here for work, if I were ever to come back to the area for a vacation with family, I will DEFINITELY book again! She follows all current CDC protocols for social distancing. Beautiful home, love how much history and knowledge about the home and the area to eat at all the best places and very clean! Highly recommend! Book today!!

My husband and I stayed here 2 days last week and enjoyed every minute. From the time we arrived to our departure, Holly was veryaccomodating. We stayed in the Freeman room and it was very nice. The fireplace was able to be lit without having the heat on and the bathroom and shower were very nice. Each morrning Holly prepared a delicious breakfast including locally made pastries and eggs from her chickens.Upon arrival we were in need of something for dinner and Holly suggested a restaurant down the street that we ate at both days we were in Smethport. The food was quite good at a reasonable price.

We wanted to explore the Kinzua Sky Bridge and surrounding park and since this would put us 4+ hours from home, wanted a place to stay over night. The Mansion District Inn was a wonderful find. The other reviews guided us and we could not agree more with their assessments. The Innkeeper, Holly, was a delight as was her unbelievable excellent breakfast. The decor of the Inn was very Victorian and the modernized shower in our suite (Dr. Freeman) was a treat. Other thoughtful amenities includes water/soft drinks in our room and snacks, wine, scotch, and cookies available at various times. We felt very pampered. A great place. Remember to have your cable password with you so you can access the Roku in your room.
