We are a landscape contractor local to Crescent area. We buy a lot of product from West Penn Aggregates and their parent company McClymonds Supply & Transit. Their loader operator hit our truck, smashed our toolbox, and is refusing to fix anything.
A man named Chuck who works the counter was immediately evasive after being notified of the situation. Chuck claimed he would forward the images to his superiors and make sure it's resolved.
It's been 2 months since the incident. Over the past 2 months I have been transferred by phone to a man named Frank Zbuckvich, Vice President of McClymond's Supply and Transit. I have left countless voicemails over the last 8 weeks and no response. I was finally able to reach him today on his cell phone, and was greeted with aggression and vulgar slurs. It's clear they are trying to brush this incident under the rug, and are very irritated by my persistence to get this resolved. I was told today that they are not going to do anything about it, after admitting they were at fault.
It's very disappointing that they handled the situation in this way because we are long time customers of West Penn Aggregate and McClymonds Supply/Transit. We will no longer be purchasing any material from them.

Great service and delivery was in a matter of hours. We needed 22 tons of 2b limestone for our construction project at Valley Site MHP and Mcclymonds made it happen

absolutely the worst customer service, we needed 4 tons which is not a lot I understand but the person answering our questions in what I would call a condemned trailer was so rude, he couldn't decide if he wanted to answer our question about the order OR take care of other people driving up, he didn't like how much it would cost, when we could get it or anything. The guy said call back Monday. We left and went to 422 Landscaping down the road and can't tell you what a better experience we had, the prices were just as good and we got it delivered SAME DAY I'm sure they don't care about losing a sale but would never recommend this place to anyone. The sign I took a picture of definitely doesn't reflect the business. They had this sign in the office and need to teach the employees to read it if it's that important.

Cannot give a review as I did not actually visit this establishment. I give 3 stars is neither bad nor good, it is "middle of the road" because as I stated I did not visit the establishment.

I have dealt with mcclymonds several times since buying my house. They are always very helpful and accommodating. From stone to sand and even coal for my outdoor boiler. I have shopped around several times, and no one ever comes close to beating their prices.

Ran through a stop sign heading into mcsherrystown, almost crushing my car and cutting off the oncoming traffic. EDIT. Not affiliated with mcclymonds, don’t want to hurt company so I changed my rating. If anyone sees these trucks around mchsherrystown or Hanover be careful.

Never buy stone from this company! Ordered 2B river rock & about 3/4 of the load was pea gravel. Called & was told there's nothing they will do to make it right. If I could give a negative rating I would.

Reckless drivers on the road. Driver driving on the shoulder and not even looking at the road when on the highway. Safety voicemail box full so a message cannot be left. No response from emails sent which tells me the company doesn’t care. Be aware if you hire them or see one of their vehicles on the road.
