Upon his visit , my pre-lim talk with Tony was educational and right on. He helped me make some good decisions Re: the job. The men arrived on time, were very organized in getting ready, and very friendly in acquainting me with the process and asking for my input.The work was done conscientiously and ( in my opinion) perfectly. And they were extremely helpful in responding to my non-contractual requests ( where it was possible). I wouldn’t think twice in having them again. And I will be doing my regular maintenance with them .

Vince and his associates have been treating my driveway for the past three years. They are always courteous and polite, fulfilling my requests down to the last item. Their work is impeccable: I literally cannot see one crack in my driveway and trust me, there were many. Rates are reasonable and the quality is outstanding, I learned of S & G Asphalt from my cousin who also uses them.

I can’t say enough about this company. I’m a little embarrassed to mention it, because I went with a different paver for a lower price. But that paver turned out to be horrible, equipment breaking down and everything, so he abandoned the job. But Tony and his men came in when they didn’t need to and probably shouldn’t have based on principle. But they took the job over, fixed a bunch of stuff And saved the day with an excellent finished product! Don’t learn the hard way like me, go with these guys, they are the best

I give S&G 3 stars for the sealcoating job they did. I’d give them 1 star for customer response after the job. The job was done around 7/27/23 (it took several attempts, before then, for them to contact me for an estimate). I thought the sealcoating job was good but the next day I noticed some white spots on the driveway. I took pictures and sent them to the office inquiring about the spots. The photos were to be sent to the guys who did the sealcoating. August 4th, no response so I texted again about not receiving any response. 14 days later, August 18th, still no response. I texted again that I have not received a response and that, at this time, I do not expect one and S&G should consider the issue closed and to not correspond with me any further. They did anyway saying that someone would be over on August 21 to look at it. Waited all day, no one showed up and no phone call. Late that day I said my patience had run out and that I, absolutely, do not want anyone from S&G to contact me. I see, from other reviews, that S&G is poor in responding to either potential customers (as I had described earlier) and, from my experience, poor is responding to inquiries (if you have one) after the job.Service: Driveway sealing

After three attempts to request an estimate for our driveway sealcoating, S & G finally contacted me. They did a satellite estimate. I agreed to the cost of the job and a date for doing the job was set. The date was an advantage to S & G as I explained that they were doing a sealcoating job for my neighbor, two doors down (no second trip involved). The sealcoating job was decent. They were careful not to get anything on the garage door or pavers. Upon closer look the next day, I noticed some white spots on the driveway (one larger than others). I sent S & G a photo of the larger spot and asked for a response to this. This was around 7/27. Between 7/27 and 8/18, I was told, twice, that the photos were forwarded to the guys who did the job and someone would contact me. After nearly three weeks later and not being contacted, I told S & G that I do not want any further contact and I am considering my issue closed. They contacted me anyway and set 8/21 as a day that someone would stop by the house. I waited all day and no one showed up. On 8/21, I said my patience had run out and I, absolutely, do not want anyone contacting me. My 3 star rating is, basically, for the amount of time it took getting an estimate and the lack of follow-up to the photos that I sent.

Shortly after the job sealing my driveway was completed, the clouds opened up and heavy rain ruined it. Within a couple of hours Vince called and said they would return to fix it the next morning. They cleaned up all the grit scattered on the driveway and resprayed the entire surface. Looks great now.

Photos are 2 months after our driveway was sealed, still have a curved dark line/area that doesn’t appear to be going away. Sealant was dropped on our sidewalk and was well onto different parts of our lawn.Services: Driveway sealing

I received an unsolicated quotation from S&G in April to seal my driveway. Sent in the contract, waited. I called them in April to be sure I was on their schedule and was told someone would call me back. In June I still hadn't heard back and called again, told again someone would call me back. I called in July and again in September and was told the same thing. No one has a clue what's going on or if I'm getting my driveway sealcoated at all. Just that someone will call me back.
