I am not sure what goes on at every car dealership I know there always seems to be something shady but this one is good at hiding their shady dealings. I attempted to purchase a truck at this dealership. I went back and forth over three different trucks. Some had incentives some didn’t I finally decided on a truck that was “in route” to the dealership. I asked more than once about the numbers specifically the incentives. I was told multiple times yes the incentives are there. When I was leaving my house to go in and sign I got a call saying “oops my fault no incentives”. If that wasn’t frustrating enough I went back to look at a different truck one that was less expensive. It was being sold at a significant discount. I cancelled my appointment at another dealership and went back at 1 to sign the papers. The truck I was looking at was not prepared yet their detailed left at noon even though at 930 I told them I would be back for the truck today and that I wanted to take it home today and was told that wouldn’t be a problem. At 1 I go back and I am told the retailer went home so the truck won’t be ready to go today. I went in to sign the papers and they bring me some ridiculous apr and explain that they didn’t want to shop around because I would lose the 500 dollar incentive if I didn’t sign with GM financing. Well with the rate GM was giving me I would have made up the 500 dollars in less than three months. I needed up walking out and going back to the appointment I had at 10 that morning and bought a bigger newer truck for more money. When they tell you they are being transparent you know they are lying.

James and Jess are amazing. Easy from start to finish and everything in between. I am glad I went to Rentschlers and the wife is happy with her new 2023 Silverado. Thank You and appreciate you for making it a pleasurable experience.

I've been a mechanic for over 20 years. The car I brought in for service is the newest and nicest car I've ever owned. I bought the car here, so I figured I'd get it serviced here and keep the relationship going as well as having the car serviced by a certified technician for the brand of the car. Plus, after having to turn wrenches all day myself, it's a nice feeling to think I don't have to do it at home. Makes sense, right? However, this isn't the case I'm afraid. After an improper diagnosis (which was never reconciled), an excessively expensive quote was made and I approved it. Upon tearing into the vehicle to make the repair, the technician found the actual problem which revealed to me the improper original diagnosis. The very pleasant, yet unwitting service writer called to tell me what was found and had already ordered a less expensive part that I didn't approve before ordering. This is also very telling because from my work experience, repair facilities aren't usually in the practice of ordering parts that may or may not be needed for fear of now being stuck with a part that they may not be able to sell. This tells me that the technician fixed the problem, then told the service writer to tell me that it needs this less expensive part and rather than reconcile the poor diagnosis and ethically reduce the bill to reflect the situation, I was still charged for the poor diagnosis. I asked the service writer to ask the technician to repair the part, to which I was told that he said it was unrepairable. Okay, fine. But, I asked to have the broken part returned to me when I picked up the car and was only given the broken piece of the part, not the whole part. I feel this is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I inspected the vehicle after getting it home and found that part that was replaced, should have taken far less time than I was billed to replace and had the technician diagnosed properly, would've reduced the bill overall. This is the reason mechanics get a bad wrap and why I hesitate to tell people what I do for a living which is a condition that shouldn't exist. I had a similar experience with my other Chevy that I bring to this service outfit during a state inspection and instead of being reasonable about the needed repairs, I'm quoted excessive bills for menial work. There was a time when one could talk with the technician directly and work out a deal that benefited us both. While I'm not necessarily surprised about what happened here considering that this is the culture of business that we've bred, I'm still disappointed because I hold on to hope that there are still ethical professionals that still exist in business. I hope you'll read this and consider it for the future.P.s. Understand what I'm saying; If the technician hadn't caught his mistake, this could have gone far worse and far more expensive. Common practice in auto mechanics is to check the simple and least invasive things first. I realize that businesses don't like lost time, nor do flat rate technicians, but you have to do the right thing

Could not have been easier to purchase a new Tahoe. They will work with you to ensure you receive a great deal, such as receiving rebates for being an educator or healthcare employee. They also do not charge over MSRP, which is increasingly common and concerning. Overall, this was a quick, efficient process, and everyone was professional. Just be mindful that the customer parking is a little limited, but otherwise that is a small issue for an otherwise overwhelmingly positive experience.

I approached Rentschler earlier this year after deciding that I wanted to order a Camaro. Taylor and Greg were amazing through the process. I went from not knowing if I'd ever get one, to my order being accepted in May. They were able to make a daunting experience pleasant and were 100% transparent the entire time. There was no pressure into buying 'extras' and I couldn't be happier with my car. I will absolutely be a repeat customer. It's hard to find a team at a dealership that truly cares about their customers. I've bought many vehicles and this experience was by far the best one. Thanks guys!

Both Jess and Stan were wonderful. They were very informative and patient with me while I figured out exactly which vehicle would suit my needs and my budget. The last time I bought a new car was in 2003. Stan took the time to make sure I understood all of the new technology and how to enjoy my new vehicle to the fullest!Pretty much every person in the dealership acknowledged me and made me feel genuinely welcome, which was really nice. It’s a simple thing that often gets forgotten in our busy society, so I appreciated that effort. When I left the dealership I never felt that I was maybe making the wrong choice. I love my new Trax and I loved the experience I had at Rentschler Chevrolet!

My first visit to Rentschler was not satisfactory, however, this visit was extremely satisfactory. My service tech, Madison Gildner, was knowledgeable and explained all work completed on my Equinox. Maddie also was very comprehensive on explaining the future repairs needed on my car. My car was ready when expected and a loaner car was provided while my car was in the shop. Thank you Rentschler

Absolutely fantastic experience. The entire team was great. I live 3 hours away from the dealership, yet I was treated like I was a regular. I was greeted by name without ever having been there in person before. I truly wish I was closer, you would be my dealer of choice.Thank you for making my purchase so easy and enjoyable.

Over many years of purchasing new vehicles from dealerships, that was the easiest and most transparent experience I’ve ever had. All of the staff are extremely courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. I will be back someday and will always recommend. Thank you to everyone at Rentschler. You guys are great!

I have nothing but positive feedback for Rentschler Chevrolet; every time I’ve had my vehicle in for service, everyone has been wonderful. This past week my car broke down due to a recall issue, and Mike Nemeth and Madison Gildner made what started out as being an aggravating issue into something that was handled professionally and courteously. Mike saw that the problem was communicated clearly to me and fixed as soon as possible, and Maddie set me up with a really nice loaner. You guys have been great all through my leasing and purchasing of my vehicle (shoutout to Greg Williams), and you have done work (the Chrysler division) on my husband’s car as well. Thank you for serving us so well over the years!
