Dropped off a grandfather clock. The owner said it would be ready in 3 months and approx $300. 6 months later it's finally ready and go to pick it up and it's $500. Horrible. I understand estimates are estimates but that estimate is off by 66% on cost and 100% on time. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THEY'LL CHARGE YOU DRASTICALLY MORE THAN THEY QUOTE TO PICK IT UP YOUR CLOCK.

Dropped off two clocks to get evaluated . They were not running. Clerk said ten dollars to evaluate each clock. Clerk called me and stated BOTH clocks needed cleaning, oil, and all bushings replaced and would cost $375.00 to fix PER clock!. WOW! Picked up both clocks and got another evaluation from the YE OLDE CLOCK SHOPPE right down the street. The owner Jeff said the one clock is fine nothing wrong with it at all. It needed a little oil and worked fine. The other clock also needed some oil and a cleaning ( No bushing needed to be replaced) This clock repair shop is charging me $100.00 for both clocks! I DO NOT recommend anyone go to this shop a total rip off!

I picked up both clocks and took them to Ye Olde Clock Shoppe right down the street. The owner Jeff stated one clock was running fine needed a little oil and that was it. The other clock needed some oil, an adjustment and a good cleaning. Jeff stated he would charge me $100.00 to fix both clocks and that the bushings were fine nothing wrong with them at all! ( Jeff said if its not broken why fix it?) DO NOT go to Payne & Campbell a total rip off! They need to be reported to the B.B.B.

We stopped in to marvel at a collection of antiques from 'a time was when....'. We came across a wide selection of items to reminisce about yesterday

Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, is known for its collection of antiques shops, including a multi-dealer antiques mall and small shops lining the main steet. Among all of the shops, a real standout is Payne and Campbell Ltd.The shop offers all sorts of goodies, from books to tall clocks, china, decorative objects, and furniture. And it's all imaginatively displayed on two levels. Everything is spotless, and the shop is well-lighted. There is a knowledgable sales person on duty. Prices are fair, and there is something affordable for every collector.Rest rooms are provided, and weary shoppers can rest a moment outside on benches as they anticipate their next stop. Don't miss this shop!
