Everyone was so kind and courteous. They were very helpful. They were very detailed with what work needed to be done on the vehicle and everything was done in a timely manner. I was also able to receive a courtesy car for the time that my car was being worked on, which was very helpful to me and my family.

Took my vehicle in for free inspection as I bought it there. Told them about a noise I was hearing, and had been hearing since before the previous year inspection. They called to tell me the issue and gave me a repair quote over $800, and said it would not pass inspection without this. I called 2 other local shops and was quoted $500-$600 LESS including the cost of an inspection. This is clearly an issue that has been ongoing, and they either missed last year, or does not actually apply to inspection. When I told them I would be going elsewhere for the repairs to save money, I was charged $145 for labor, which I can only assume was for inspecting and then failing the vehicle. If my inspection would have been free if it had passed, how is it OK to charge me labor when I chose to not have my repairs completed there. I was given no answers. All I can say is never again. For anything. If there was an option for 0 stars, that is what I would choose.

I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation and I realized at the time of my appointment that I needed state inspection! They were great and took care of everything for me and got it all done! I absolutely recommend Shively Motors!
