'We presented Scoop, our 18 year old cat.He had been declining over the past two weeks. We had already decided on euthanasia due to his age.Upon arrival, we were taken care of immediately. The staff was empathetic. They took Scoop to prep room to place an IV. I should have objected as he would become agitated at times over the last couple of weeks. Our voices and touch were what calmed him.We waited for 15 minutes in the euthanasia room. The room was less than comforting. The floor was filthy and sticky. I was reluctant to sit on the sofa. When they entered room with Scoop, they allowed that he was very uncooperative. It's not something you need to hear at a time like that, knowing how stressful it had to be for Scoop. The euthanasia itself went quickly and smoothly. We were thankful for that. The final cost, with private cremation, was over $500.00. That was with my 10% senior discount.I am a retired veterinary technician. I have had experience with this area of veterinary care. I was shocked at the cost. The average cost of private cremation for a 5 lb. pet is $125.00 in the area. They charged $199.00. An emergency euthanasia costs $150.00 - $225.00. I verified these costs with local crematoriums and veterinarians. The average cost of this visit with cremation should be $275.00 - $350.00.

A very sad day for us since our 17 year old Tortie cat was euthanized due to many health issues. Everyone we came in contact with was very professional and respectful. The receptionists were so calm, empathetic and caring. The doctor was very helpful to us with our very difficult decison. We were very grateful to this facility for taking such good care of our sweet girl.

Amazing Staff. We had our dog visit with a bleeding nail. They fixed her up and even cleaned her up and opted not to charge us because it was a holiday weekend. Can't recommend this place enough.
