The employee is very irresponsible as she has to close the shop at 9pm but doesn’t allow the customers at 8pm

This store hasn't been open @ all & only open @ they convenience!!! All listings of hours of operation is completely inaccurate, yet this store is NEVER accurate with hours by any means! Ppl DO work daylight & needing/wanting to get something before going home, u will only strike out @ this location bcuz shopping here is only for daylight individuals (apparently)! The place is ALWAYS a mess, disorganized, confusing, inaccurate & "OPEN" @ they own convenience, NOT to the public!! Always out of items, both delving & upon request of customers requesting same items. I ALWAYS have to shop at Lawrenceville location anymore because of this negligence & I just smh!

So I think we've all been overly patient with this store. THe employees try. For a long time they were almost never open. NOW since there is a city ban on plastic bags, they are claiming that they are part of it and will be remove bags and / or chargng you for paper bags. There is NO local ordinance regarding bags. The ban is for the CITY and not Sharpsburg. If they want to do that then that's the final straw and I won't even try to shop there any more

This is literally the only general store central to Sharpsburg and it is almost always closed due to staffing issues. They can't be making any significant profit with this business plan. Management needs to either pay more to attract more employees or just close it to make room for another retailer who actually wants to sell things.

I will say the staff tries its best. It currently seems like it has no corporate support and that people most likely are not paid what they should be.In the past year it has gone downhill drastically. They are frequently closed or have limited hours. Items are expired, there is trash everywhere, you see items that should be frozen just refrigerated and vice versa as well as random items that aren't refrigerated/frozen in those areas. There are often whole shelves that are empty and also product on carts just waiting to be shelved. I was shopping for a neighbor and 3 different products I picked up were empty boxes. When I gave them to an employee so that me or someone else who came after wasn't accused of stealing they said thank you and they know its a problem. One employee who already had a black eye/gash on her head was dozing off behind the counter while checking someone out. I couldn't locate anyone else to help this employee and I was concerned for her safety.Again, some employees are great and I do believe all are trying their best. This has been a store that has been well needed in the community as well as has been a place I have frequented for years for family member's shopping needs. With that said, if they are open it is hard to trust the quality of the products you are purchasing.

Thought the store was looted everything was either in disarray or on the floor. Don't get me started on the floor I've seen cleaner construction sites. Not sure on expiration dates on what food they have. which wasn't much..Something should be done with thisstore being this is all the town of Sharpsburg has. Very Sad...
