I worked there over 8 years ago. I started in 2003 stayed over 15 years. I left over personal reasons. I loved working with the residents and older staff that started when opened.

The staff has taken excellent care of my brother Larry . Even in medical procedures including surgery, the staff was always there to assist and comfort my bother . The group home is always clean and well appointed to assure residents a positive environment . I highly recommend Verland .
Verland is a non-profit family of person-centered, community homes and services supporting more than 200 individuals with intellectual disabilities, many of whom have multiple physical challenges. Our facilities are located throughout Western Pennsylvania, spreading across Allegheny, Beaver, Fayette, and Mercer Counties. Throughout our footprint, we offer community living residential homes, intermediate care facilities, Adult Training Services, Rehabilitation Services, Health Services, and more. Verland’s 47 homes are served by a staff of more than 500 specialized caregivers and supported by four adult training facilities centrally located near the homes. Our mission is to provide individualized, innovative care and ongoing support.
