The Passport woman at this particular location is amazing and she did everything to help me and my son. However, the rest of the mail delivery has been horrendous. I sometimes don’t get my mail. I sometimes have my mail returned to sender. And I always have my mail jammed into a little mail slot that is not up to code, but that does not need to be put up to code (it’s been grandfathered in so I’m stuck). Because my landlord doesn’t want to put in bigger boxes, I am stuck with this tiny box. This is not the post office’s fault, however, my mail carrier frequently jams my mail into the small slot when there is a basket he could just set it in below the mailboxes. I have repeatedly asked the post office to take care of this. They keep telling me they are “talking to my carrier.” Nothing has changed, and I just got noticed that a piece of my mail was returned to sender for no reason. I have asked to speak to the postmaster at this particular post office, and was told he would call and he never did. I am not made of money and cannot afford a post office box, I don’t feel like I should have to do anything to get my mail delivered to me properly. The only reason I gave this two stars is because, as I said, at the beginning the woman that handles the passports at this location is amazing.Update: I received a phone call from the post master today. She is very nice and seems to genuinely want to remedy my situation. I look forward to working with her and her staff to make this particular building’s mail run more smoothly. Thanks to her and her staff.

The most unbelievably rude front desk woman. Even getting stamps for normal envelopes caused her to start yelling. I echo the other reviewers. Just go anywhere else.

The people at the post office are very nice and friendly but, wow, I've never had such trouble having mail suspended for a few days or forwarded. Talking with neighbors, this is not unusual and I am surprised. I've actually given up trying to suspend mail when we go away for a week or so, no matter if I make the request online or hand the physical card (yellow) to the person behind the counter, it just never happens. Neighbors are away for 2 months and asked for the mail to be forwarded to their out-of-state address. Not only is it still being delivered and their daughter has to drive in occasionally to pick up, but yesterday it was delivered to the wrong address. VERY frustrating for us all.

The reviews about the "Wonderful Postmistress" are false. She had her Family write them Dude who needed his mailbox moved doesn't even live in Sewickley. He lives in WV! The truth.

Worst service inside and delivery. The post master Henry is unprofessional and so is his staff.

Very rude and unhelpful. Many times I've paid to have packages delivered on certain dates, only to be left with a notice saying "unable to be delivered", "no one was home", or "no secure place to leave parcle". It's all a joke. I've recently been told the carrier missed my package and marked it as "unable to be delivered" instead of going back to deliver it. Unbelievable and lazy.

I have been delighted with the way the postal service has reacted since COVID started. The mail carrier is friendly and helpful, and I think that culture works throughout the organization. For example, I had a recent outstanding experience. The person who cleaned my gutters dropped my bill into my mailbox (he did not mail it, just dropped it in inside of an unmarked envelope). I accidentlly dropped the bill on the ground and I thought it was lost. However, not only did the mail carrier pick it up and try to find the owner, the postmaster Lacey also opened the envelope to find out who it belonged to and had it re-delivered to my house despite the fact that it didn't even have a stamp! Just an A+ experience.

I was out of town for 60 days, and arranged to have my mail held. I returned to town for a short visit at the end of the first 30 days and picked up my mail. I was told that typically the post office can only hold mail for 30 days and then would prefer to forward mail. However, the Postmistress graciously agreed to hold my mail for another 30 days and explained to me that there are other options to deal with extended absences.

I had a question about relocating my mailbox. I spoke with the postmaster and she was able to answer my question in a very friendly manner. It was refreshing talking with someone who actually listened.

Lacey is a welcomed addition. She will be an amazing postmaster. This office is in great hands under her leadership.
