I've been a patient here for 20 years and I've seen the place totally disintegrate. This is the fourth time I've seen a total restructuring of staff. All the good people leave because it is a terrible place to work. All of their patients on disability for mental health suffer for this, because this is the main system for all of us on disability.

In 2018, the intensive outpatient program (IOP for mental health) was pretty good in terms of material covered, not great in admin. In 2022, the program is not what I expected. Very disappointed in fraudulent time recorded (they repeatedly shorted us on programming time), very unfocused, distracted facilitators, and mixed results in administration. Try healthgrades for more details/reviews. This IOP needs a lot of work. I would not trust the doctor here to manage my recovery.

I've had Dr. Bukhari since I was 7. I'm 22 now, and she's been excellent all this time. Dr. Brecken was a godsend of a therapist

Just wanted to say Sheri is a very inattentive and awful therapist. She puts on a fake smile and says yeah to everything you say. Also rushes you out 10 to 15 minutes early. Was late to call back on a phone appt, and reached her with 40 minutes remaining and she rushed me off the phone within 30 seconds. and said I could have a half hour the week after. Needless to say I'm getting a new therapist and just wanted to let people know how unprofessional my experience was here.

Way too hard to make an appointment, I had to stop therapy here simply because i was lucky to meet with a therapist once a month; I was supposed to see one every 2 weeks. I wasn't allowed to book months ahead either to make sure i could even have an appointment because they saw it as unfair to other possible patients and would not allow for bookings too far ahead.

Started going here a week ago. Things are going very well. Counselors/ Therapist are wonderful. Had three interactions w/ Receptionists they are very helpful and kind. Too early to give a 5 star rating. I have the IOP to complete. I'm so thankful that they have a program like this available to patients.

Seemed like they had too many patients when I was there and they were just trying to herd you in and out like cattle... I was extremly over medicated! Granted there may have been changes since I've been there and I understand the person I saw to prescribe medicine is no longer there.

Staff has always been extremely friendly, and they come to know you on a first-name basis. The IOP program is incredible! Yes, there have been some staffing changes, so things were a little jumbled up for a bit, but everything has pretty much smoothed out by now. The main reason I wanted to write this is because I saw a negative review about Dr. Mohsin and I wanted to counter that. Dr. Mohsin is hands-down the BEST psychiatrist I’ve ever had. To me, he is warm, welcoming, and he genuinely cares. All of the med tweaks he’s done (except for one) have been great, and when I had an adverse reaction to one of the meds, he responded very promptly to get me off of it and substitute something else. My only complaint is that the office visits are too brief, but that’s not his fault. That’s just the way they’re scheduling MD’s these days. And hey, that’s a testament to his “bedside” manner - tell me the last time you actually wanted to talk LONGER to your psychiatrist! I guess my main point is that not everyone is gonna respond the same way to a psychiatrist. Sometimes they get it right, other times they don’t. If you’re not feeling “connected,” then try someone else until you find a doctor you feel totally comfortable with. Nothing wrong with saying, “I’m sorry but I just don’t feel like you understand me and my needs.” They can refer you to someone else, no problem!PS, if you’re short on funds, ask about charity care. I work full time but my income is low enough that I qualified, and it’s a life saver. All I had to do was fill out ONE form and bring a pay stub in. What a wonderful thing!
