Although it might be tough to differentiate this place from another nearby local haunt, Gather has a good stock of local gear, seasonal amenities, and interesting odds/ends. I would struggle to call a lot of it useful, but Sewickley is a town where most people have what they need and gilding the lily is commonplace. That’s not necessarily a bad thing and while there’s plenty of foreign made stuff here, it’s good to find anything local and thoughtfully made when big box stores would’ve exclusively carried foreign junk. Gather staff are friendly but not overbearing, and pricing is on the high side for sure so keep that in mind.TLDR: Lots of home goods, seasonal artifacts, and decor.

Very nice store. It offers quite a variety of items. They have a section with Pittsburgh specific gifts. I bought a cute apron with Pittsburgh sayings for an out of state guest. They also have different types of hand made candles. They smell wonderful. When I need a small gift, I will stop there again.

I had been to Gather previously before a recent YELP event but didn't have the time to explore it. I returned here to see the entire store. Set on two levels they have much Pittsburgh themed merchandise. Some of this merchandise I have seen in other stores but some were very unique. Set on two levels they currently have Christmas merchandise reduced by 30% They sell different types of giftware including tea towels with clever sayings on them. Beautiful scented candles in small milk jars, artwork, elixir bottles, baby gifts and so much more. They even have an area where you can get a box called "gather" in different sizes. You can then put what you want in it and they will handle the shipping for you or you can take care of it yourself. Depending upon what you buy items can be a bit pricey. I was blown away by a Pittsburgh painted water bottle. Although it was a slightly higher than what I would pay the detail on it is amazing and it does keep beverages cold for a while once outside the refrigerator. With that i purchased a holiday candle and ornament that was reduced. This is a great store if you're looking for something different or can't get to any place else to shop for local merchandise. Located on Beaver St in the Sewickley business district, metered street parking is available.

One of my favorite home shops in Sewickley especially when decorated for the Christmas holiday. I love their locally made candle collection and all the holiday themed pillows and art work. These have made great gifts. The staff is super friendly, too.

This store is so inviting from the street! Once inside, everything is laid out well. There are lots of Pittsburgh-centric gifts and items. There are so many different items to chose from each more interesting than the last. There is an upstairs area with more items: baby gifts, bags, clearance and miscellaneous. If you are looking for different gifts or items for your home this is a great choice!

What a cute store! Prices are on-par with what I'd expect, and they have great home decor.
