I've lived in Selinsgrove my whole life and you'll never meet a man more passionate about literature as Homer (as Donald is affectionately called). The best deals on some of the most interesting books. Can't visit selinsgrove without visiting this bookstore!

DJ Ernst's books is the best book store I have ever been in. The first time I stepped into Hommer's (the owner's) European style nook, I felt pure joy. The selection is fantastic and completely affordable. Hommer is now one of my best friends and I take joy in visiting his little store every Saturday.

About D.J. Ernst Books
After 48 years of regulart nine to five business hours, I am now operating on an informal schedule. I am closed on Sundays, but generally open for several hours all other days, especially between around eleven to around two or three or four. On Saturdays, I am more attentive to being open, and I come in around 10:30 and usually stay open until 4:00. Exceptions are for vacations and unforeseen circumstances. The selection of books is very good, with emphasis on the humanities and history and children's books.
