I had fried whiting, yams, and Mac. The yams tastes like they came from the can, the breading on the fish just came right off, and the Mac noodles were overcooked to me. The cornbread was really good though. Wasn’t the best “soul food”

Honestly the prices are a lil high for a plate for 1 but overall the food is great! the pic of mac nd cheese doesn’t do justice, i was thinking the same thing when looking at reviews but it is GOOOD & so flavorful , same w the chicken and yams & the cornbread is bussin hella buttery and good. Jus know i’m picky with my food but id definitely recommend this place and definitely going to order again

I got the chicken tenders, Mac & cheese, candied yams, corn and the Red beans & rice. Starting off with the chicken, it was absolutely amazing. The spices in the chicken along with the breading are absolutely amazing, especially with the honey mustard included. The chicken was moist and slightly spicy and I will be going here for my chicken from now on! The Mac & cheese was slightly too peppery for my liking, but was still tasty. The candied yams though, OMG! Absolutely amazing. The yams tasted exactly like sweet potato pie and were absolutely perfect! The corn on the cob was buttered with some minced garlic which I was not expecting but was pleasantly surprised by, YUM!! The red beans and rice.. OMG again! Absolutely amazing! Was spiced deliciously and the rice was scrumptiously buttery, we were left wishing we got the larger size! My favorite part absolutely without a doubt was the Corn bread. It was some of the best corn bread I've had in a long time. Was perfectly moist, deliciously buttery and was almost like eating cake. I could absolutely eat that corn bread all day every day! Everything tasted amazing and was obviously made with care, love, and the most delicious spices! Not to mention the portion sizes as amazing for the price, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and will be coming back!!!

I ordered 2 fish sandwich an both of them was not made rite idk where u out the fish on top of the condiments but for sum reason they did an it was nasty the bread was hard an completely unacceptable

Food was hot and sooo good. Got tenders, hush puppies and Mac and cheese. Everything was amazing and the staff were very nice. They also gave me a couple extra tenders which was awesome. Highly recommend!

Delicious food. The people that own this establishment is top-tier. This was the fried catfish. I have had their other meals the fried chicken always on point. Their rice and beans excellent! A plus is that their family owned and they show up and they do the work! I don’t have to worry about them not there like some other businesses, I have witnessed closing early and or not opening at all in the middle of the week. Their food is good. The atmosphere is good. On the long workdays where I don’t have time to make dinner, they are a go to.

I heard it was good I really wanted to love it but the chicken was super salty and not cooked through!? collard greens tasted extremely bitter corn bread was really good though. Mac n cheese was tolerable at best and being a local Im trying to be nice. Didn't seem loke the owners where there so that could be the reason not sure

I don't know why everyone is so negative on here... First time trying food and having it delivered, I live pretty far from a big town/city and wanted something besides fast food. The chicken was delicious!!! Again, I live farrr like a 25 minute drive the person had, expected stuff to be cold but my goodness was I wrong!!! We got an 8pc meal and the tin was still hot to the touch! MAC AND CHEESE TOP TIER!! I will definitely be ordering here again!! Chicken was not dry whatsoever! Not crazy greasy also which is a plus!THEY ARE HUMAN TOO! Give it a try!
