3410 N Main Ave, Scranton“My neighborhood supermarket so a pretty regular stop. Overall very good, excellent deli and the meat department seems to have improved, but one has to keep an eye on expiration dates, particularly in the dairy case and especially with yogurt. Whether it’s the vendors or the in-house stock crew they can be a bit lax in that area. Good deals tend to appear often if you look for them, and the bakery is good, but fermented foods are a no show, a popular and growing category they should catch up with.”

“I grew up in Virginia but my parents were from Scranton (Taylor Ave) and Dunmore (Marion St). We would travel to Scranton 5 - 8 times a year and us kids always wanted Gutheinz bologna. A thick slice that was just delicious.I haven't been to Scranton in 10 years but next time I go I'm going to Gutheinz to relive some great memories and get cold cuts you can't get at many places anymore.”
“This is me and my husband's favorite store is Schiff's we never had any complaints, they have great deals and quality in meats we use to go there all the time, highly recommend such nice helpful people who make your shopping experience enjoyable they definitely deserve five stars.”
