I've been shopping at this particular store for over 10 years. I see a decline in the quality of freshness in the deli. I reported spoiled lunch meats but I was ignored. Twice I bought fresh Italian sausage and each time it was rancid. Some of their new cashiers are little bullies. I avoid shopping there now.

My neighborhood supermarket so a pretty regular stop. Overall very good, excellent deli and the meat department seems to have improved, but one has to keep an eye on expiration dates, particularly in the dairy case and especially with yogurt. Whether it’s the vendors or the in-house stock crew they can be a bit lax in that area. Good deals tend to appear often if you look for them, and the bakery is good, but fermented foods are a no show, a popular and growing category they should catch up with.

I make it a point to stop in when I'm visiting. Love the deli and the bakery items. It is smaller than what I'm normally used to, but I really like that about Gerrity's. I prefer this location vice the one on S Main Ave. (just my preference). I stock up during my visit and stop again to stock up for the ride back south! Great service and fantastic prices!

Love the selections and very clean however the the Lady in the Deli was very rude!!! It was our first time there and didn’t realize you had to take a number!!! We simply didn’t know…. We saw a sign but was unclear where to get the ticket…. Long story short this rude lady from the deli was like “ just read!!! “. You’re lucky!!!! And was very rude!!! In the meantime a young lady stepped in very politely and said “I will take care of you”. Actually we were the only customers at the time… she was pleasant and got our fish and wished us well!

Love the ready-made dinners, but the store is small and crowded. The salad bar has no place to set your salad down and get your dressing, add croutons, and cranberries. You must try to balance it on a very small ledge as you need your hands to do the aforementioned. Hence, spillage abounds and is often overlooked. But it is truly a hometown grocery, and the many people who go there have patronized it for years. Many, many years. Cashiers, deli ppl, and the butchers all know your name, and you are greeted with warm smiles and a high degree of professionalism. Kind of makes you feel warm and fuzzy all over, and that is always a good thing.
