We are EXTREMELY upset and do NOT recommend George’s to anyone, especially senior citizens and anyone without experience in automobile maintenance. He came highly recommended, so my boyfriend brought his mother’s car to be looked at. He was told the muffler had a large crack in it, and an oil leak. His estimate was over $1000, and this seemed very sketchy. My boyfriend’s brother is a professional mechanic and he gave him a call. When his brother also said this was an astronomical estimate, we brought the car to another local garage. Their estimate was HALF as much as George’s, and the car was repaired in a timely manner. We had a wonderful experience at the second mechanic’s and are so glad we looked into it.
Shame on you, George’s!!

George deserves his reputation. When I call he is accurate and honest. He is the last of a dying breed of mechanics that actually prioritize customer service and pushing for good resolutions. He is one of the best so he is going to have a flow of work in front of you. Have some patience and a good attitude and George will take care of you too.

George was highly recommend by friends of mine in the area. I always do my own car repairs but I am moving to California and needed my AC system repaired. George went the extra mile for me and got my car in to be fixed last minute when he was very busy. He was upfront and honest about the quality of parts and costs associated. He came in right at estimate and there were no surprises. He communicated well during the whole process and was super friendly and professional! All this for a customer who he knows is moving away. After moving into the area I asked where a good service shop was and George’s was recommended. Really nice guy and very professional. I work on my own cars generally, so I’ve really appreciated that George doesn’t try to sell any unnecessary service that I know the car doesn’t need. I just got my car inspected there today and they covered the seat, put a paper mat in, and complemented me on the car. I appreciate that extra care and honesty. Highly recommended!
