Zero reviews would be more accurate.
I live in Minooka and have been with the Davis St CVS pharmacy for approximately 20 years. The service has suffered and the care even more as the years passed and it’s been about five years since I started considering to leave. I am so frustrated with the short attitude and the angry blaming for the pharmacy’s shortcomings. My job is to fulfill and pick up my prescriptions. Theirs is to fill them, which is rarely done and if you don’t pick them up within a handful of days, they put them back and berate you for not coming in immediately and having to put them back and refullfill them, when they decide to. They also forget to bill the insurance and charge full cost. Our copays are never the same and tell us to call our insurance—which is managed by CVS—and the insurance has explained over and over that it is the pharmacy’s fault and their wholesaler. But they either are uninformed of their own practices or refuse to take accountability and blameshift the insurances, the patient or anyone but themselves without offer to look into the problem and fix it. Finally, the straw broke the camel and I moved all of my prescriptions to ShopRite in Moosic. The kindness and helpfulness and that the staff knows us personally and always shows their concerns and remembers our medical and personal goings-ons have made our prescription filling such a lovely and personal experience that we can overlook the less than accommodating hours. We are willing to give a little to get a lot back in turn. Thank you for brining back the old time, small town pharmacy policies and feel back. Customers for the long run. THANK YOU. Please consider moving your prescriptions over like my entire six person family has done.

I had the best associate help me at the photo kiosk. She was very patient, professional and made sure the quality was right. I couldn't have done this on my own. Her name is Lane Valentin.

One star is being to generous sat in the drive-through for a schedule appointment for Covid. They told me they couldn’t give me a Covid test because she didn’t know how to bill me I explained that I can pay cash when I asked her the price. She said she couldn’t tell me the price. Like let’s be for real 15 minutes sitting in the drive through for nothing

I am now been sitting in the drive-through line for 15 minutes not one car has moved. This is the second time I’ve been to this particular pharmacy and had the same problem they must be understaffed.

I had a recent diagnosis that put me on a lot of medications. Prior to this, I took nothing and was in the dark with everything. I had so many questions. I didn't know what I didn't know. Nina took the time to explain the medications, what they were for and when to take them. I used CVS on Davis street because of convenience but now I feel I have an advocate in Nina and will recommend her to everyone.

Shout ojt to David. He checked me out right before closing and was the nicest store employee I've experienced in ages. I go to many different CVS stores, and frequently too.

I recently changed to CVS from Price Chopper because the prices are so much lower. The only complaint I have is when you call, there should be a prompt to speak to the pharmacist instead of that computer voice taking forever to speak to a pharmacist.

If you use the drive thru here you'll probably die of old age

Every time you go here, they’re five cars deep in the drive thru to pick up. And it takes unreasonably long to wait for your prescription. Five cars means probably an hour wait. Not even exaggerating. So I go around and park thinking going inside will be faster. Nope. 10 people in line. My prescription was called in for my Som three hours prior to going to get it. Girl at the counter tells me they just got it when I know for a fact it was sent in hours ago. Today there were at least 5 people working that i saw. The girl in the back filling prescriptions needs to stop staring at all the people waiting in line and get filling faster. I mean snail speed. No wonder the prescriptions are never ready. These pharmacies also should have never started doing vaccines and Covid test. Go to a doctor for that stuff because it just causes congestion. The poor attitudes of everyone working here doesn’t help the matter. The world has really changed since Covid because people have no ambition or drive anymore. Switching pharmacies.

The level of incompetence this CVS has is unmatched. Don’t ever take pictures here to get developed. I always thought the photography department of CVS could be trusted to get pictures developed but I was so wrong. I brought a 10+ year old camera to get developed and expressed my fears of it getting lost due to the priceless valuable pictures on it. They reassured me they could send them away and to come back to within the a few weeks to a month with my receipt to pick up my prints. After many visits it’s clear they lost my camera and no one has any answers to where they went or how to get them back. The Employees are useless with corporate was even more useless. I’m so upset I’ll never get these memories back & CVS lost a long time loyal customer due to their incompetence. If you ever wanna get pictures developed look online or even try Walgreens or rite aid. Shame on you cvs for even having a photograph department at this point, you can’t responsibly do the service you are providing. Now I go to Walgreens & they have much better products, employees, and rewards.
