“Best post office ever. Not a "real" post office staffed by uniformed post office employees, but a real old fashioned place run by the local post master. She is very friendly and seems to know everybody. I frequently mail stuff overseas or to APO addresses and she always knew all the regulations (about customs and whatnot) right off the top of her head. I always dread going to a city post office, because they never know which customs form I am supposed to use or whether I can get delivery confirmation or whatever. They inevitably get it all screwed up, have to call the manager, and look it up in some book. Major hassle. But not here - she is a walking encyclopedia of post office minutiae, and friendly too!”

“Our UPS driver that delivers in South Mountain Estates in Shippensburg is a Life saver. My 12 month old Golden Retriever got out and took off and ran all around the neighborhood and the UPS driver stopped and saw me trying to catch him and got out with doggies treats and helped to catch him and get his harness on. Thank God for UPS drivers!!!”

“The staff here are great, they are really helpful if I need help with labels. I have not come here as often since staples has picked up a bill of returns- they also carry avanti greeting cards which I like and not too many store ma in the area carry avanti. The one downside is the charge to use the computer to access labels -very nice staff often very busy”

“This post office is very convenient yet always busy. The workers are so so w customer service but fast and efficient. Most days there are at least 10+ people ahead of me but the wait times are short. Pros - Great parking lot, 2 drop boxes that are conveniently car window length. Plenty of P.O. Boxes to accommodate customers. Cons - My biggest gripe is that this post office is most popular considering there are 4 other local offices yet they have the worse hours. They close earlier than the others during the week and weekend.”

“I've been coming to this USPS for several years and have never encountered any rudeness or unusual circumstances that these reviewers are "claiming." EVERYONE has always treated me with utmost respect, decorum, and with a smile. My packages have always been scanned in and delivered ON TIME as indicated on the RECEIPTS. The problem is obviously NOT the staff BUT perhaps the attitudes of those with the entitlement attitude entering with them. You get what you give. Or, as the Book says, "You reap what you sow." This location has always been above board and efficient.”

“Almost the negative reviews seem to be about a particular mail carrier or what not, this 5 star review is for the actual office itself. Ive walked in there handful of times past two months for different things. Staff as always been pretty helpful and informative. They usually only have one person working, so you might need to give a yell for help, but there pretty friendly.”
