Definitely Recommend! My husband and I have been going to Walter Douglas to file our taxes for the past 5 years. We have always had an excellent experience. Walter takes the time to explain everything to us and answers any questions with enthusiasm. He loves what he does and is in this business to help his customers. The women who work in the office are so friendly and helpful too!

I've been going to Walter Douglass Tax Services for nearly 7 years. We switched from our accountant in New Jersey and wanted to find someone local whom we could trust.
Walt is professional, organized, responsive, and courteous. He is also knowledgeable... sending out timely newsletters with useful information (as is on his website).

This guy is ridiculous! For the SECOND time he filed my taxes with the wrong name. I had to spend hours on the phone to get my taxes filed and I don’t even get a response or a refund. I knew something was wrong with this place after he conveniently “forgot” the $300 cash payment I gave him. He told me I had to prove it for it to be honored. Thank god I had the receipt he gave me but what kind of an accountant doesn’t have records of payments? What a joke this place is. Very unorganized and the office smells like a wet dog.

This guy is a complete scatter brain. He didn’t file our taxes on time and then went on vacation and refused to answer our calls. An ancient fraud who believes in old ways of money. Completely out of touch with today’s economy. After finally getting in touch with him. He says he’s firing us as a client. He’s laughable. Thank you Nora for making everything he did wrong, right. He’s a complete fraud

This is my second year going to Walter. He is great. He tells you every thing you need to know and then some. Sure, TurboTax is cheaper but if there’s ever an issue, they won’t tell you and you would never know. First year Walter saved me thousands because of a discrepancy in my W2. Turns out I had two but my employer only sent one.His portal is convenient and easy so even if you live over an hour away like I do, it’s nice to do it remotely.All around would highly recommend. You’re not just paying for the taxes to be filed, you’re paying for the knowledge.
