Spring Mountain Adventures is a smaller, family-owned ski resort perfect for new to intermediate skiers. Its size means it is not too large or overwhelming, with short lines and just enough runs for a great time. It is a close, convenient, and family-friendly place for many, offering skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and seasonal activities like a haunted hay ride. The focus is on learning, with wonderful, patient, and super helpful instructors. They offer nice instructional package deals for little kids and beginners, including programs like Ski Bees. The staff are super friendly and kind. While some note the facilities look outdated, this adds a quaint feeling. Pricing is acknowledged as a point of consideration, but many find it a worthwhile alternative to larger, more distant resorts, appreciating that it doesn't break the bank for a fun day out. It is a cherished local spot where generations have created lasting memories.
With so many ski resorts overcharging for lift tickets and food and charging for parking these smaller family-owned resorts have become my favorite. Lines are short and it doesn't break the bank. I love Spring Mountain!

We had a great time! The instructor was so nice and super helpful. Definitely coming back!
Update: This year we went ice skating and took a snowboarding class and we had so much fun!
