Purchased a good quantity of top soil that had to be delivered in two loads. They were able to bring two different size trucks and place the topsoil exactly where I needed it. Most important is that the quality of the topsoil was excellent. No mulch in it for filler, not too sandy, not too much clay - perfect!

I have dealt with the family for years, they have an incredible amount of knowledge and are extremely helpful. They have the best prices around and are very professional and polite, the driver shows up on time every time and delivers in the exact spot you tell them.

Great place. Staff is very courteous and helpful. They sell top soil, mulch, mushroom soil, coal and firewood. I bought ten 100 lb bags of nut coal for $20 per bag ( in 12/2022) and it is some of the cleanest coal I have ever bought (very little dust).

I ordered for the first time today from Lutz's. I ordered 6 yards of double ground mulch, delivered (same day!), for my father, on the recommendation of our landscaper (and so much more!), Gerry Arndt with Sustainable Land Solutions LLC. We have order mulch before from other places, but nothing quite right. My father likes "the good stuff', he's very particular, as he has been gardening for over 50 years. As it rolled off the truck I could see the little glimmer in his eye, yep, it was the good stuff! Hanna was very helpful with the order and took the time to answer my questions and got right back to me with delivery availability. The delivery driver placed the material exactly where we asked. We will be ordering again from Lutz's.

I ordered fill dirt. They said it would contain stones which I acknowledged. They delivered about 50% stumps and roots along with some stone and dirt. When i called to express my dissatisfaction i was told "that is what you get". i will never use them for anything again as i question their integrity having said one thing and delivered another
