Hand made all beef patties, cooked on a griddle. Located across the street from the Century Inn, this little grocery store has a lunch counter in the back. There's no sign, but you enter by the Pepsi machine on the sidewalk. This place used to be known as Doc Mowl's Store.

Step back in time to this rustic pit stop along historic Route 40, nestled in the quaint village of Scenery Hill. Attractive to the locals for the classic hamburgers that are known for being legendary! Be sure to order by 2 as the store closes early! There is plenty of parking adjacent to the building so you don't have to pull off of busy Route 40.

I think this was Doc Mile's store in the fifty's, with a small cafe in the back. We used to stop here on our way to & from school for treats like "fireballs".
