I tried local yards in my area (Cincy Ohio area) to source parts for my Acura MDX. After 3 weeks of run around and quite frankly, pathetic service, I contacted Bollmans. I received a fast and efficient response. I traveled 6.5hrs one way to pick up my parts. The staff was friendly and helped me address some other parts needs I had with no hesitation. I'm completely satisfied and highly recommend Bollmans next time you are sourcing parts for your vehicle.

I called them and they hung up on me, twice!
Maybe they did not like my out of state area code?

Firstly, whoever answers the phone is a very, VERY rude and disrespectful, secondly, I was lied to about working parts, nothing was correct. Very disappointing how much time has been wasted.

Sold me a motor with low compression on all 4 cylinders then refused to honor warranty, don’t give them your business

This company sold my brother an engine and told him it had good compression and was good to go. Once it was installed, it didn’t run, it’s had 90PSI across the board instead of 160PSI like it should be. Then when we contacted them, the lady said word for word “i don’t care”. The engine was out of the 30day warranty. In those 30 days, it was not in the car. It was in the pallet, untouched, and inside a temperature controlled garage. They were not even willing to hear our piece. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. NEVER buy ANYTHING from here

Woman on the phone is extremely disrespectful. Yelled at me repeatedly not even 2 mins into the phone call. Engine had bad compression after being told it was good on the phone. Wont refund.

I bought an engine from them that they claimed was a running engine with 27,000 miles on it and stored it in an indoor temperature controlled environment. When I bought it they offered an extended warranty which I requested information for over email and in person and was never sent the information for it. I had to wait for mechanic availability and parts to be delivered. Once installed, the engine would not turn over. My mechanic compression tested it and it had severe low compression in all cylinders. They claimed this engine only had 27,000 miles on it which doesn’t add up for something in this poor of condition. When I contacted them the secretary told me verbatim “I don’t care” when I explained the situation and said I was out of the 30 day warranty period then proceeded to raise her voice at me when I asked if there was any way they could help me. If I could rate this establishment a 0/10 I would. I wouldn’t trust them to pour water out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEY ARE A SCAM they will sell you broken or faulty items and find a way out of replacing or refunding for it.

This car part company is an absolute disgrace! I am deeply disappointed with the quality of products and the appalling customer service provided by this company. Multiple attempts to address issues with broken car parts were met with indifference and unhelpful responses from customer service. It's infuriating to encounter such a lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction. I strongly caution others considering this company for their auto needs.

Terrible experience. Spent too much money to have such bad service. 0/10 would not recommend. Would not let them date my daughter.

If you want to do business with people who sell faulty parts, then this is the place to go to. The secretary over the phone is extremely rude and “doesn’t care” about her attitude.

This place is a scam. I recommend you go elsewhere.

Worst yard to deal with. The sent a damaged part or shipping company damaged it and just said; "we cannot issue you a refund because the part is damaged and this is not my responsibility." They are the shipper and it is not his responsibility?? They can file a claim and get the money back.
Danielle here is just the worst, no professionalism at all uses harsh language, and does not know anything about business ethics never going to deal with him ever again, and if I do not get a refund. I am opening up a dispute against "Bollman's Auto Salvage."

The fella that said the secretary needs a class in manners was spot on. We have been in business for 35 years. I have bought thousands of dollars of used parts through the years. We bought an engine and called them on day 32. She immediately said we were way passed our 30 day warranty before I even got a chance to tell her the issue. The intake manifold was cracked which is no big deal, we just used the one off of our original engine. When we removed the intake manifold, the valves were so rusted up, from water intrusion that we didn't want to install the engine. When we called to discuss it, they said if I couldn't prove it had been stored inside the whole time we had it, they wouldn't warranty it. We did have it inside the whole time, but we could have let this sit out in the rain for the thirty days we had it, and there would not have been that much rust on the valves. When I said I didn't have photos to prove it was stored inside she said well its your engine now. I told her I had never been treated like this before from a salvage yard, and she hung up on me. That was an $1800 lesson on not to buy parts from this place ever again. I am forced to leave one star, otherwise I would give them zero stars.
