When my husband and I were expecting our first child, we started the daycare search unsure of what we would find. We are so grateful to have found The Learning Village. We currently have two children enrolled and progressing through the classrooms - both having started as infants! Not only are our children cared for and learning but they are safe, loved, and thriving. Each classroom has activities tailored to each age group to help them achieve age-appropriate skills in a child-centered way. The use of an app provides for easy communication of daily activities between teachers and parents (we love the frequent pictures!). The special events like trick-or-treat, the spring art show, and holiday concerts are just an added bonus to the great, daily activities and education The Learning Village provides. The teachers are friendly, patient, and loving and they are helping us raise a new generation of good people! Our kids are growing into wonderful people thanks to their love and support. With our kids we refer to The Learning Village as "school" but they feel more like our extended family!

My daughter first entered The Learning Village when she was 9 months old. She has had a fantastic experience in both the infant and the 1 year old room. Different age groups each have their own classroom tailored just for their needs. There is a fenced outdoor area for the children to play that is equipped with play equipment suited to their ages. They are provided a variety of activities through out the day. The environment is structured and well-thought out. Daily reports allow me to see what my child is eating, when diapers are changed, how long she naps, and what activities she does. Best of all, the staff is terrific. They handle the challenges of childcare with a calm, positive attitude.

If I could give The Learning Village more stars, I would in a heartbeat. I cannot speak more highly about this establishment and staff there. We started at The Learning Village in November of 2018, with my 2.5 year old and barely 12 week old. Prior to us starting there my children had only been under the care of myself or family, but do to ending maternity leave and job change we needed help for childcare. I was beyond nervous about my children starting daycare for the above reasons, but Melanie and the staff there put me at ease immediately. In the first couple weeks, I called daily to check on the boys on top of my daily reports and never once did I feel like I was an inconvenience or “crazy” for calling. My children and myself have a food allergy and anyone with an allergy will tell you that there comes a sense of nervousness in possible interactions that your children will face without you there. Again, TLV put me at ease. They are constantly checking and verify food to be safe with my children and look to provide alternative options so that my children can be included in all things there. The staff at The Learning Village I cannot speak more highly about. Melanie, The Director, has done a fantastic job in cultivating staff members who truly care and love what they do. From walking into the door every morning, staff welcoming you and your children into the center, even staff members whom have never taught or cared for your children but know you and them by name is a very heart warming and endearing experience.Having two children at the center has allowed me the opportunity to experience several rooms, teachers and curriculums and I know on how my children are learning, experiencing and doing that they have great care and support while at school. Also, I am not only a Mom but a pediatric physical therapist in which I have traveled into multiple childrens centers to provide care. And to be honest, I have been in some really terrible places. Dirty, smelly, not well organized nor children well “cared” for. That is not The Learning Village. Is the building brand spanking new and top of the line? No, but the staff and care they provide sure are.

The Learning Village is the only place I would send my children. We have been attending for 2.5 yearssThe owner and teachers are nurturing, creative, innovative, and energetic. I have had a child in every room from infant to preschool and each time I see them grow, thrive, and love learning .Thank you for loving our children and shaping them into lifelong learners.

My 10 mon. son has been attending TLV for a little while now, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say. All of the teachers are amazing and there is a strong sense of community/family at TLV. My son has learned so much in his time there! I wouldn’t of chose any other daycare than this one. I was so scared to even put my son into daycare but the second I walked through them doors I knew everything was going to be okay and it was a huge relief and now my son gets so happy to see the staff the second we walk in. Thankyou so much for everything you’ve done for me and Row TLV and I’m excited for the next years we have ahead of us!

I feel that staffing is an issue. even tho they do have the "state minimum" requirements for staffing they could not handle the minimum amount of children they had enrolled. I also feel that the kids were not receiving basic stimulation and care that an infant needs. Was not happy with them for some time and should've left sooner.

Our daughter has attended the learning village since she was 3 months old. Although there have been new owners that took over ownership right before our daughter started we have seen changes that have been welcome (installation of security cameras, staff wearing matching t-shirts, weekly reports being sent home in addition to daily reports). In the infant room our daughters teachers Miss Julie and Miss Lauren have been fantastic. They really care about our daughter and it shows in the things that she is learning on a daily basis (things I know I am not teaching her at home). They are very receptive to suggestions and communicate things effectively with other staff members who may be taking care of our daughter as well. It is a hard decision to choose a daycare that is a good fit for you child, however I can say with utmost confidence that I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a reputable center with staff members who care about your children.

The learning village has been a phenomenal daycare and has dedicated themselves around the children and early childhood development education. Both of my children have attended since they were both babys. They love the staff and have become so smart and proud of what they have learned on the daily basis, they are always excited to go. The new ownership and all the staff have always been so helpful with my schedule and they always do whatever they can to help me. I am so glad to share my children's childhood with such wonderful and understanding people!

NoteKids is in the middle of our second semester of music classes with the children at The Learning Village! We have enjoyed every minute with the children and staff here. The staff is caring and kind, and that is reflected in the way the children respect them and have respected us as teachers. Whether we are fostering creative play or quietly attending in a focused listening task, the children are fully attending, participating, and surpassing our expectations!
