“I have been ordering from Frankferd for years, usually with no issues. My favorite for baking bread is the 50-50 Organic Bread Flour. I bake all of the bread we consume. A strange occurrence made me wonder if anyone else had this issue. Two 5 pound bags, Lot 240, ordered in Sept. 2024, caused failures. No other ingredients were different. There seemed to be almost no gluten and the texture was quite coarse. The first try created heavy dense loaves. The second mix I had to dispose of as I could tell where it was headed! As I write, I have a new batch in the oven using 50-50 I ordered in 2025 and it is completely normal (smells great). Just curious. Mary Sidwell, Ohio”
