Stopped by their new tasting room this morning because I saw that they served espresso-based beverages and authentic Italian pastries. I got a caramel cappuccino and a slice of the apricot almond pastafrola. Everything was super delicious and the inside of the building was extremely warm and inviting. Very pleasant staff and answered any questions that I had. Not old enough to drink but I’m sure others would love to know that they have 28 different varieties of wine for sale that they make locally. Check out this new spot when you get a chance!

My favorite wine, I plan trips to the Pittsburgh area, and stop to stock up. But they attend many wine festivals and I stock up there also. Dolce Maria and Peachberry are my top favorites, I also love the Lemon with a charcuterie board.

This is a local winery that has opened its doors not too long ago. They're still starting off as they're an up and coming winery. They have a great story to tell. The winery was started by the daughter and her dad. Francesca started making wine at home in Brookline when the winery first established, and her dad has been making wine most of his life. She said let's open up a winery. Francesa was so warm-full and helpful with the wine tasting. She said they just moved to the new property and have over 17 acres of land. They're running out of space at the moment as they have tanks in the basement of where the temporary tasting room is located. She said they do not oak directly in the barrel at this time. She said they do some oak but with wood staves in stainless steel tanks. She showed us the other building where the wine is made at. She stated that the wine is in local Giant Eagles and Shop N Saves, in addition to being located at a place that they share with another tenant in Greensburg. In the spring - summer they come to local farmer markets. She was very nice and charming and provided many details. She allowed us to taste anything that we wanted to taste. I tasted all of the dry red wines and some of the white wines, along with some sweeter wines. I really liked the lemon wine and blueberry cabernet wine. They were semi-sweet but they had an incredible taste to the wine. The reds I liked the most was the Cab, it was light bodied not real in depth or smoky and the blend that was 4 years old. They aged it in bottles over a period of time. Overall this is a great winery up and coming. They make 8,000 gallons of wine per year. That's a lot of wine for a startup winery. Do the math of that 128 oz = 1 gallon. wow. I highly recommend this place. Francesca said they're going to be building a tasting room at the main location, and maybe vineyards in the future.
