Mega store randomly located on the slope of a mountain. Moved to tamaqua maybe a couple months ago and as a new homeowner this has been my second home. There's been a couple of instances where management has been very accommodating whether I needed to replace bolts that didn't fit and were given to me on the house or an AC window bracket that wasn't available when I ordered it for curbside but I was given a more expensive option at no extra charge for my troubles. Usually an expert for any aisle you're headed to. Saw the lone one star review and figured I balance out the averages.

I ordered a grill online, fully assembled to be delivered. It was delivered, falling apart and left on my front lawn. After I called, they made a notation to deliver a new one and put it on the porch, Nope it was on the front lawn again. Did I mention it rained today, on the new grill while I was at work. Despite their asst' manager telling me he would get to the bottom of it and call me back, he never did. I had to keep calling him. End result, my 72 year old father had to go out and put it on my porch. When I called them back, he then told me he was already sending them back to put it on the porch or take it back. He never communicated this to me until I called him again. Worst customer service I've dealt with in a long time. Never again.

So NOT use Curbside pickup. No one answers the phone. Sat for 15 minutes trying to get through. Thankfully my fiancé was with and just went in to pick up while I waited in the car with our boys. 6...yes 6 employees at the desk all not answering the phones just standing there!!!! What a joke! Highly disappointed and will be contacting corporate as well...don’t advertise something you aren’t going to actually do.

They are absolutely terrible to deal with and will do everything to get out of helping you. I purchased a dishwasher and it was under warranty through Samsung and I also purchased the extended warranty through Home Depot, the one they tell you people will be out in a day or 2 to fix it. It’s all a lie. I had my dishwasher service about 6 times, yes on the phone for hours and missing work and they still did not fix it. After a lot of arguing, they finally gave me a replacement

Home Depot Matt manager and Susan assistant store manager went totally out of their way to help me today with my LG refrigerator that went beserk. I had an LG refrigerator that I really liked but when the Tech got here he said it Was contaminated because oil was sprayed all over the back and in the walls of the refrigeratore now LG wanted to repair it and home depot said no. Therefore LG and home depot both called me and told me that I would be getting a reimbursement check for what I paid for the fridge for 4 years agoThank you Matt thank you Susan soon as I get my check I will be over to buy another refrigerator just never an LG

On 1/26/19 I was supposed to receive a washer. At 1515 I received a phone call instead saying the washer was damaged and wouldn't be delivered to my home in Ashland, PA. I called several different divisions of Home Depot and the number provided regarding delivery issues on 1/28/19. I was told there wasn't a return scan or an order placed for another washer. I can't get a refund until they (Home Depot) have a RGA number...guessing it has to do with no return scan. This is unaceptable! I will never recommend Home Depot in the future. I will not be silent either!!!!! I will flood Home Depot with phone calls until they discontinue the use of whatever subpar delivery service they use! I expect an answer and a quick resolution.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS We purchased a washing machine from this location. The deliverymen tracked mud into our home to the point I had to shampoo carpets. The genius who set up the washer started a hot wash cycle to test it and left. He also left the manual in the drum, causing a huge mess. Calls to the local store were fruitless. Chatting online with reps was even worse. Two promises to receive a call from management were not kept. There is no customer service. We will never purchase from Home Depot again.

For some reason or another I have always preferred Lowe's over Home Depot. Even do it for Jimmie Johnson. However this past Wednesday night while at work a pipe in our home froze. I was at work in Hazleton and my Wife called around to find heat tape to put on the pipe. Home Depot in St Clair had one left. It was 8:46pm and they closed at 9pm. No way I would make it.
