They have a good carwash and if you pay at the pump you get a discount for using the automatic carwash as well. Just be careful getting in and out at the pumps, some people block the in/out and don't leave room for people coming off route 61.”
“Friendly owner. Fried chicken is excellent! I'd call ahead before you go if u desire fried chicken it's not always available. I'd avoid after 9pm. A lot of loitering on ramp in front.”
“Simply awesome. Our campsite was close enough to the lake that we could just walk our paddleboards down and hop right in. The beach was a great highlight, as well as the bike trails. Camp store was surprisingly good, with delicious old fashioned ice cream. Beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful at night, a few cool nature programs/presentations, nice functional bathrooms… really couldn’t ask for much more!! Grateful for PA State Parks!”
“Thier card access diesel saved us after hours... ran out of diesel with truck traveling through area.... THANK YOU!!!! was lured off highway by Exxon 24 sign that did not have 24 hr diesel pumps as advertised”
“Great people and nice old school atmosphere. Please be aware the entire structure and business model have changed. They don't sell groceries any longer. Gas is still here but it's clothing and stuff like that. I've not purchased anything other than gas since the change. I cannot answer anything about the changing busy model as of yet.”
“Owners are friendly and take the time to ask how you are and how you been doing. Prices are good. Only downfall would be the people who linger outside. At any given time you could be harresed for money, cigarettes, or to buy drugs/alcohol.”
“Their gasoline was less expensive than other places nearby. Want to fill up and pay with cash? No problem. They even gave a discount for cash. Accessable restroom is available. They also sell convenience store items.”
“State operated. Selection wasn't bad for a slightly smaller store. Prices were not bad, very close to what I'm used to seeing. Store is well laid out, isles are very organized and easy to find what you are looking for. Both staff members I talked to were friendly and helpful, I'd be recommend this store.”
“My favorite store ❤️ Friendliest, most helpful staff, both in the store and in the pharmacy. The pharmacy is so helpful and accommodating and several people speak Spanish, which really helps the community. Also the store selection is amazing and I never leave without an armload!”

“This store is great. The pharmacy staff is very knowledgeable and polite. Other store staff is also polite. I am glad I switched to this pharmacy. The experiences I have had here are much better and pharmacy is quicker, more knowledgeable, and more polite and thorough.”
“I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of hoagies here in the Skook county area. I've tried every notable place in the south end of the county from Pottsville to Orwigsburg. Moyer's are very good. They are priced under $7 and it is a hefty hoagie. It is not a destination spot that I would go out of way for, but I would buy again if nearby and I would be a regular customer if I lived nearby. Also, they cut the rolls odd in that they cut through the entire roll causing the roll to have a "top" and a "bottom" like a sandwich and unlike normal hoagies. The may and oil/vinegar was a bit skimpy for my taste. Here's what kept me from going to the fifth star: 1. The bun. They use hard rolls which I think tends to cause the roll to dominate a hoagie. I prefer soft rolls so the meat is the star. They should offer soft rolls. 2. The onions overwhelmed the meat due to the strength of the onion. They should use a milder variety. 3. The ham used on the Italian was cooked ham, the cheapest variety of ham. They should step up to ham off the bone or even tavern ham. So...it was very good but not the best available in the area.”
“I really like it over there a lot because their subs are so good but I really like having ham subs whenever I get hungry and stuff and I like the person named Deb who is so nice to me and my dad and dad pays for the sub and she is the best person that I met before and Deb is the best”
“Turkey Hill is my #1 for convenience. They cover a wide variety of what i call "emergency needs" 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year! There unmatched in dependability!”
“Fast, friendly service -- got both flu+Covid vaccines... very little waiting time... plus I made a store merchandise purchase and checkout was fast & friendly.... just moved into PA from CT and service at Rite-Aid is much nicer than CVS/Walgreen back in CT.”
“I shop here very often. Service is fast, employees are friendly. It does lack variety with somethings I like to purchase. If I need milk, redbull, coffee, ice cream, it's always a quick shopping experience.”
“Since I have been unable to walk if I need gas and no1 was with me I called and explained my situation and the one worker came out to help me and pump my gas. So very kind and sweet.”
“Really cool staff. Gives the kids candies. Prices are going up which is happening everywhere. But I will say it this place stays open 24/7 it will be the best most needed place in the area as turkey hill in the port carbon is a speed trap for police”
