Today I went to this Quest location to get a 3 hour glucose test. I tried to schedule online for a Saturday appointment a few weeks back but it was not allowing me to schedule. I tried to call multiple times before I went into the location to see if they can accommodate me, since it says walks in are accepted. I walked in and checked in at 708. The kiosk automatically put me in for a 1040 time, so I questioned, since it’s a 3 hour test and they close at 11. The worker I asked told me that I usually have to schedule an appt, which I tried but wasn’t able to. Called and could not get a hold of anyone. I told her I could go to the Phoenixville location if they couldn’t see me today(since they opened at 8am) Anyways, she told me I would be seen today but in the future might not. She then goes to the back and I hear her tell her coworker that there’s a 3 hour glucose patient out there. The coworker rudely responds saying “ugh seriouslyyyyyy?!?!”. The rude coworker quickly takes me to the back and was giving me attitude telling me in the future I’m not going to be seen if I didn’t have an appt. Mind you again, I tried to schedule weeeeksss before. I could not make it on weekday, as work life balance is not great bc we are extremely short staffed at work - with my manager out on leave for a couple weeks. I told her to not worry because I planned not to come back. She then gives me a dirty look and questioned if I was the girl who was just there a few weeks back at 1040 on a Saturday trying to get this test done! I told her this was my first time there and I wouldn’t be that dumb to go at 1040 for a 3 hour test! She then proceeded and drew my blood, gave me the drink and told me to come back at 1054 (3 hours later) I did question in my head why she told me to come back 3 hours later when you have to get blood drawn every hour on that test. Fast forward to an hour later, she’s calling me asking me where I was at (was in my car) I told her she had told me to come back at 1054, I even repeated the time before I left the room and she confirmed that was correct. She’s like NO I TOLD YOU IN AN HOUR… when she never did. I strongly believe she did that on purpose for me to lose my whole appointment and have to come back another day!
This was the most horrible experience ever! I cannot believe that Quest hires these kind of employees to be their image and work for them. How gross! If you don’t like your job, why not look for something else!!!!!! This is so bad. I feel so offended with this whole experience. Please hire better employees Quest!!!!!

I am able to schedule my own appointment by automated system. Upon arrival technicians are ready for me, usually no waiting. The place is clean with great technicians that waste no time in getting me to my next destination.
My car is just a few footsteps away. A good way to start the day.

I went to this Quest Diagnostics center. My phlebotomist contradicted my doctors' orders so many times that I almost left. I should have left. She caused me to have a prolonged Cardiac episode. I couldn't safely drive back to work for a while. When I asked her to stop, she refused and continued to contradict me despite not knowing my health history.
Edit to change from 1 star to 3 and to add: After voicing my concern on the customer service form on the Quest Diagnostics website, I got a follow up call about 4 hours later with an apology and reassurance that it would be addressed.
I will still be a little wary going to this center in the future, but everyone makes mistakes, and great people learn from those mistakes. I feel confident that my next visit will be different. Thank you, Quest Diagnostics!

This particular visit I got there early and was out of there before my appointment time which was terrific. However each experience can vary depending on who is assisting you . The person today who assisted me spoke in a condescending manner, and that may or may not have been the intention,; however it is very disrespectful and ignorant. But besides that got what I needed done ??
