Very caring and professional team here at Limerick Vet. My dogs are basically season ticket holders here, and every member of the team that we've encountered have all been top-notched.The front desk receptionists are always helpful and efficient. Each time I call, they are willing to go above and beyond to get my questions answered. The vet techs are very gentle, and the doctors are patient, knowledgable and compassionate.Dr. Donahue, Dr. McGinley and Dr. Yarnall are great assets to this office. I'd recommend them again and again.

We love one particular vet here. For that vet, five stars. We rescue senior dogs, some of whom have medical issues. Our favorite vet is great about being realistic about what can and cannot be done to help them, and together we do all we can to give the dogs a happy and comfortable life for the time they are with us. Some of the other vets can be very unkind to pet owners who are dealing with difficult situations. On one occasion, I brought in a 14-year-old dog who had bloody diarrhea (who turned out to be dying) for emergency treatment. The doctor had agreed to see us on an emergency basis, but then yelled at me for causing her to miss an owners' meeting. She didn't properly attend to the dog and acted like the bloody diarrhea was too yucky for her to deal with, then sent me home to care for her myself. (That was not my first negative experience with that particular vet.) A trip later that day to a different animal hospital revealed my baby was in multiple organ failure and needed to be euthanized. Today, we brought a 16-year-old Shih-Tzu in for euthanasia because the issue he came to us with had run its course. This vet did the job, then shamed me because the dog was not well-groomed, even though I had explained I do the grooming and I had broken my hand, and have just now reached a point where I could start grooming again. We also had been bathing him frequently to help relieve his condition, which caused his hair to become a bit matted in places. I thought she was very insensitive under the circumstances. For them, one star. The staff here are all wonderful, both the desk assistants and the techs who help with treatment. Five stars for the staff.

In the past 6 months, the quality of care has declined. I'm in the process of finding another vet because I called them to express my concerns that my dog was showing signs of kennel cough. I made an appointment for Wednesday morning and she said that she was going to send a prescription for cough suppressants to my pharmacy which was never done.

If you want to overpay and feel like you are getting nickel and dimed then definitely take your pet here. The care my dog has received has been good, but he has only really ever gone in for basic care. Dr. Fluger is very thorough. My complaints are around the fact that they are very expensive and aren't clear up front about all the extra charges. A basic well exam with minimum vaccines and medicines was over $800.

Dr. Yarnall is great. He is caring and gave our cat a through examination and took time to explain all of his x rays. Thank you for your great care. The room assistant Christina is so loving and kind. She made our instructions for our cat easy to understand.too. The doctors and staff are great. So comforting when we had to get our dog put down. Thank you Dr. Fluger for saving our one dogs life.

We were told they have a new policy now which states that if you miss or are late for an appointment you will be charged $50. We were on our way to our appointment, running a little late before learning of this from the receptionist, and were told there would be a fee applied for being late of $30. They charged us $50 for cancelling the appointment altogether. Either way you will be charged if you are late or miss an appointment. Apparently 9 months ago a person was told then that this is a new policy. I was told today this is a new policy by receptionist that could not help me further because they were about to close for the weekend. What VET office is closed on the weekends anyway?! With so many Vets in the area, why choose this one. The fees that are associated with taking your pet to see a VET are already OUTRAGEOUSLY HIGH ENOUGH to be treated like this by this establishment. Great way to deceive people by putting this very important announcement in some obscure area on paperwork. Not very CUSTOMER FRIENDLY! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

We have 5 animals (3 dogs, 2 cats). Our regular vet has always been great, but when it came to needing a quality of life check-up for our senior sweetie, Ashes. I wanted to go someplace that I felt would partner with, and guide me, in helping her to enjoy the golden years. I was looking for an empathetic vet that would understand how difficult that appointment was going to be for me … rather than just getting my dog looked at and checking out as thought it were an everyday business transaction. So, I went to Limerick Veterinary Hospital to see Dr. Yarnall, by referral. Wow! He exceeded my expectations, and I am beyond happy with the service I received. Dr. Yarnall took his time in our appointment. He was meticulously thorough in making sure to answer all of my concerns, examining Ashes, and educating me on options. Without a shadow of a doubt, I highly recommend Dr. Yarnall at Limerick Veterinary Hospital!

Dr. Tiff Pfluger noticed gum disease in my cat that my last vet at another institution did not flag. She treated my cat with so much care and respect and I am so happy with the several follow-up calls and genuine compassion that the entire team has put into treating my kitty! Will recommend Dr. Tiff and this Vet to all!

Dr Yarnell is extremely professional and kind. He's very careful with his words, although nothing would offend me, I just want my pet to be better and trust his judgment. He's very thorough with what issues could be the problem and doesn't rule anything out. He's not about getting all expensive testing just yet, he wants to try different options to see what works best for my pet!!! THANK YOU DR YARNELL!!!!
