“My fiancé and I LOVE The Desmond. The facility is very well kept, the ballroom is spacious and well staffed, the restaurant serves elevated American cuisine with craft cocktails. There’s also a classic Irish pub that serves comfort food done well with local draft beers, a diverse list of spirits and both venues offer excellent service, wine list featuring old and new world wines while dining in comfort.I worked here as a teenager and have never stopped going. This is where we go to stay and eat for most special occasions. I highly recommend brunch, dinner, Happy Hour and the deck when weather heats up. Colleen and Mike Chain are 1st class operators who treat your like family. Follow them on Instagram to get the inside information on great package deals with room and dinner as as well as holiday promotions. 1st class!”

“The hotel is beautiful and was very clean. Albdul checked us in, and he did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome. Now, complementary hours were from 5-630pm. They had snacks and cheese and fruit, which was ok. Drinks were included in what you wanted. Now, the bartender that night was NOT pleasant at all. He had a strong chip on his shoulder. I had to ask if he was ok because the attitude was not professional at all. We were a party of 8, and all of us felt the same way. The beer was flat as it was Ina pitcher. Asking for another one from the tap was also a problem. Now, breakfast was wonderful. The chef made it his job to make you feel very comfortable. The morning breakfast crew was full of smile. We did go to the pool which was freezing and we didn't stay long. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Felt safe.”

“Located in the heart of the walkable Skippack Village, this classy but casual, rambling place was a lovely escape. Heading past the welcoming hostess to the to the Rathskellar for the danceable rockabilly and roots rock band Delcobilly, not quite knowing what to expect, I passed several large, pleasant, windowed rooms with tables and staffed bars. Descending the stairs into a place that was not at all cellar-like, I found a living area with beautiful, ornate, dark wood, carpeting, and several rooms flowing one to the other. From the bar, which had cushioned, backed, swivel stools and a couple of high top tables, you could see in one direction a room with comfortable sofas facing a fireplace mantel, and in another the room where the band had set up behind a small parquet-look composition dance floor. Off of those 2 rooms was a large, cozy room with café tables and chairs. Your choice of seating, no reservation. The plentiful staff was professional, personable, and attentive. People drinking anything from bottled beer to mixed drinks were treated with respect. The shrimp cocktail I ordered had the biggest, best shrimp I've had in many years, and came with a cloth placemat and napkin. You'll understand that I also must put in a word for the spacious ladies' room with its modern fixtures, yet wonderful old wood decor. Highly recommend this place where you can go, "ahhh", and forget about the outside world for a while.”

“I stayed at Wayne Hotel for my wedding at a nearby venue. I got the Premier Suite and the room layout was great for getting ready with friends and family. The rooms were immaculately clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the staff was so kind and helpful throughout the process- fromgetting wedding blocks through to checkout. I did not get to try Rosalie but some guests had stayed an extra night and had dinner and said the food was great! Highly recommend this adorable historical hotel!”

“Now it's been sometime since I've been to Hotel Fiesole. But last time I went it was for brunch and they had this gnocchi there... this picture to this day haunts me of how delicious it was! Is this still served there ?”

“We escaped power outage to warm hotel. Very courteous staff. In an unusual twist from many other hotels the bathroom was very well lit but relatively poor lighting for the room itself.Bartender great and enjoyable ”

“1st off, let me say ,don't believe the negative results. This hotel is dog friendly, kid friendly, and everything is in the vicinity. If you don't want to drive, rooms are immaculate, and bathrooms are large with soap dispensers, along with plenty of towels. There may not be dressers, but really, for one or two nights, who is really gonna unpack, breakfast is served in the morning, and the coffee is always fresh,I would definitely return if I'm in the vicinity again”

“I like it! Yes the room is quite small but the bed is very very comfortable and the room is clean. No hairdryer or iron though (unsure if they have them up front). The location is wonderful (the photo is of the view out my window). Right in the middle of a chic little block of shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Convenient to Valley Forge and Elmwood Park zoo (great place for kids especially). There's a fridge and a microwave - yay! - and there is coffee 24/7. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They do need to spiffy up the entryways as they look shabby.”

“Staff gets 5 stars especially our man Chris and our girl assistant GM Jacqueline! Entire staff is super friendly, professional and polite including the housekeepers.. They all go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and special. Jacqueline is a super sweet lady who keeps her word,, I'm glad we met her. But the star of the hotel is a fine young gentleman named Chris. His parents raised a fine young gentleman who must be very proud of him. Super nice guy, always upbeat and friendly, courteous and polite, professional, knowledgeable and patient as all heck! Smiling big thinking about his patience! Treated us with such respect. He explained things thoroughly.. And no matter how many times we bothered him, he never wavered.. He was just as polite, friendly, courteous and respectful as he always was. Chris is absolutely an asset and definitely a keeper... Any company would be lucky to have Chris as a part of their team. Truly a remarkable young man and employee!! Thank you to all staff for making our stay a very pleasant one!!Very clean hotel too.. Rooms are veyr clean and smell so pretty when you walk in.. Very welcoming. Housekeeping does a terrific job cleaning. Beds are soft and SO comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud! Pillows too were so soft and comy and they actually fit the size of the bed, King size pillows! Great night sleep! Great location and close to major highways, shopping and restaurants. A must stay! Breakfast was very good too and Brandon from room service is also a very nice friendly guy who went out of his way to help us. Barb at the restaurant is also a super friendly woman who actually brought menus up to our room, so we didn't have to come down.. Super nice lady. Then there is the maintenance guy who took the lock off our window for us! Super nice man.. very friendly personality.. and no wait time.. We called downstairs and they literally sent him right up!This hotel definitely knows how to treat and take care of their guests. They make you feel welcomed and special. Great staff! We will definitely be back.. We look forward to it! Great pricing too.. So worth it! We highly recommend this hotel! When you stay at a not so nice hotel it really makes you miss and want to run back to a hotel like the Sheraton where you had such a great experience and stay.”

“The room was beyond basic, but it served the purpose as I stayed in the room overnight for about 10 hours. Suggestions: Provide the rooms with a bottle of water, plastic cups and a box of tissues. Small thing to do that could go a long way.Rooms: The rooms give basic a whole new meaning. There are no plastic cups, tissues, or any other small basics. It is just a room.”

“This place is absolutely horrible walked in the room it smelled like some old dude smoked 50 cartons of cigs. Then I move the sheets and there’s a roach. Go in the bathroom there is roaches crawling all over. Go to the front desk the guy was an absolute idiot did not care what I had to say about the disgusting room still trying to get my money back. Not to mention the roaches in the fridge. I would rather spend the rest of my life in a sewer tank than to stay here one night.”

“We checked in July 7,2023 and we will not be staying there again we arrived and checked in-through a night service desk at 4 in the afternoon, get to our room that had roaches in the mini fridge, the shower was impossible to turn on it was literally pulling the plumbing against the wall, we were told 2 queen beds and received 2 fulls, the cables to the tv were spliced together and held with electrical tape, the microwave had been pierced from outside to inside making it unsafe to use . The door entering our room had to be forced open and closed, the pictures are not showing the condition of the other rooms it was not worth the almost 300$ it cost to stay there, would recommend finding another hotel in the area, they offer breakfast but unless you pretty much snatch the door open to the main floor you are not getting in. Will post pictures to back my claim. If I could give it half stars I would, utterly disgusted at the condition had I not booked well ahead of time and traveled from out of state I would have found a different hotel.Safety: Doors didn’t operate properly, unsafe microwave in room,Walkability: Not at all wheelchair accessible”

“Amazing customer service, they are all friendly and help when needed. I always was able to get towels or garbage bags. They are kind and helpful. The laundry room is very clean and convenient. They offer a variety of drinks and snacks in the vending machines. Trash rooms surprisingly are clean and close/convenient for all rooms. My room was clean when I checked in, no overwhelming smells or hair from animals. It was quite nice and affordable. I would highly suggest this hotel if you need to find a place to go for a little while. It is quiet and not a ton of people around so it is calm. Wawa is also right down the road which is very convenient. Thank you for the great service and making my stay an enjoyable one!”

“Had this place for few days. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Easy front desk service for more towels 24/7. No issues with room keys. Friendly staff. Very decent and typical breakfast spread, Room was great, easy access to TV for hdmi use, desk and chair, decent lamps. Big negative is the lack of outlets, at least functional ones, near or no wall outlets and must use lamp outlets. Layout is pretty chaotic, difficult finding your way around. Parking is easy, plenty of spots. Lovely lobby. Wawa across street. Outdoor pool available during typical times. Pet friendly. Good for groups, parties, or hookups.Rooms: Well maintained rooms, clean beds, bathroom, towels.Nearby activities: Wawa, shopping, the usual things.Safety: Fire signs clearly posted. Plentiful stairsWalkability: Place is a bit of a maze and can be confusing when wandering around. Some side entrys don't have card accessFood & drinks: Pretty decent breakfast and bar. Vending machines each floor if they work.Noteworthy details: Back entry has card access, ice only on third floor. Laundry on main floor.”
