βGreat Polish deli that hits the spot for smoked meats and other goodies! The new building (just to the left of the old spot) is much more spacious, and it is great to see a local business thriving. They do, however, enforce a $10 minimum for credit card payments, which feels outdated in 2026 when most customers pay by card or phone, even though U.S. law still allows merchants to set a minimum up to $10 to cover processing fees. Instead, it might be more customer-friendly for them to add a clearly disclosed 3% card fee on purchases under $10, which is generally permitted in many states as long as it does not exceed their actual processing cost and is properly posted. Hopefully they will consider this so small orders are easier and customers are not stuck scrambling for lastβminute addβons.β
βA great place to get raw milk, fantastic bake goods and fresh hot coffee. There meats are the best! Very friendly staff ready to help! I recommend this Market to everyone.β
βAldi is a fantastic grocery store with a great variety of products! From fresh produce and bakery items to household essentials and specialty foods, they have everything you need at affordable prices. βItβs one of my favorite grocery stores in the area! They have much nicer produce than the giant in east Stroudsburg, and better selection across the board. For ethic/international food options we prefer to support our small local grocery stores though. (They are amazing and super helpful!)β

βThere's always a lineup because people don't like to pull the the gas line to the otherside off their vehicles or move up until they can move up to the the pump on there side off the tank, it could be frustratingβ
βSpecifically come here for the pharmacy- and I cannot say enough about their pharmacy staff! They are beyond nice and communicate asap if there are any issues/delays in regards to filling your rx. Such nice people!β
βA lot of stuff decent staff, but watch your checkout we have had an issue with 2 of their cashiers, but other than that, a very good place update: one of the problem cashiers is goneβ
βIt's clean, and fast, but the prices are a bit high. We use our Giant gas points, and typically get 30 or 40 cents off per gallon. They close early, too, as the market has been cutting back their hours for a while.β

After he lost the tarp that was protecting a valuable and fragile tree they helped provide a substitute. So many other businesses turned him away and you were there to help. βItβs a weis. They are a little expensive, and Iβve had experiences with rotten meat but they handled it well and let me get a refund. They accept EBT and WIC and have a free cookie card program for kids.β
βVery good people here. I usually always do business with Kris (the woman that owns) and they always have great products. I mostly shop here for all of my business needs for my small business. Fair prices, great people, I'll say it once again. I live in Virginia now, and I still come back here for stuff.β
βI want to give a shout out to pen argyl pa dollar general for one of the best employees of any store I met today that worked there, his name was Jorge and was wonderful. Not only did he rush over to open the door for me, he was pleasant and personable. He offered the girl in front of me to carry her stuff to her car it was bulky and heavy. The girl said it was ok she could carry it out and he actually told me he felt bad that he couldnβt help her because of how bad the weather was. I was short on my money and I was asking him to take off something. He refused and took it out if his pay. He said merry Christmas and paid it. He is a young guy with a Heart of gold that deserves recognition and made what has been a very depressing month due to my son being in a coma after a seizure and going into cardiac arrest. Jorge made me smile. What a wonderful kid with a great positive energy.β

βTurkey Hill is not only a has station but also a snack/ meal station. They have essentials, too, that one might need, for easy pickup. Friendly staff tops it off!β
βStore is very large and very clean. Giant is related to the Stop and Shop I'm used to in CT, MA, RI. Their app is written similar to S&S so if you are familiar with one, you'll figure out the other.Giant uses their own loyalty rewards card. Can't use S&S card at Giant. Prices seem to be high but there are many specials that need to be loaded onto their card.β
βThe meats are fresh never got any meat my girls love the chicken tenders they come out so juicy they always have eaten until there was none left. Iβll shop there no matter the price.β

βI was passing through Pen Argyl; needed to get fuel and wanted breakfast. Pulled into the Turkey Hill on 512 (near Weona Park). The Sunday Morning worker was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Didn't get his name but he had long hair, necklace......I asked about coffee location and breakfast sandwiches; he was intent on getting me hooked up and on my way!!!! Will definitely return to this Turkey Hill when I go through Pen Argyl again!!(My only disappointment is Cumberland Farms coffee. This is common in south Florida, especially the Cumberland Farms fuel stations. I can't drink that coffee; even the 'strongest' blend is like tea!!! Yuck.I thought Turkey Hill had their own push; I guess not.I like strong black coffee and if it doesn't 'curl my hair', I can't drink it).β
βI moved back to the area last year and the Saylorsburg dollar general was new and improved. Today I went into the store and myself having a rough day had to use a few different debit cards to pay for my purchase. The wonderful Girl Ariel was taking care of me ,with a smile and never complained. It was a great experience and made my day better. Thank you Ariel.β

βThe deli in this gas station is amazing! The sandwiches were fantastic, bread was nice and soft and there was a perfect amount of mayo on there. Macaroni salad was delicious too. They should definitely advertise better, I didn't even know there was a deli in there until I stopped to get gas one day. Stroudsburg is seriously lacking in good delis and I'm extremely happy to find out about this one. I highly recommend!β
