Nice stop on the Gap trail. Usual convenience store fare but also many homemade items . Had a phenomenal meatball sandwich and mac slaw . Incredibly nice welcoming folk. Warmed my body and fueled up. Highly recommend. Was charmed and happy to have stopped by.

Stopped here for lunch and to re-supply while riding on the GAP trail. It is conveniently located near the GAP trail and I would highly recommend as a good place to stop. Service was super friendly, prices were very fair and food was really good. They have a small covered pavilion just outside the entrance to eat and relax. Thank you Rick City Express for what you offer!

Stopped in here twice while hiking the GAP trail. Meatball sandwich and the breakfast sandwich I had were great. The price is cheap. The lady running the store was super friendly and allowed me to hang out till the thunderstorm passed the second time I was there. It's right off the trail which is a plus. An awesome spit in small town America.

Just did a out and back on the GAP, and stopped at Rock City Express two times. I love the pizza there and the available deli subs, always stop off for lunch when riding by. I found the workers to be accommodating and helpful. Answered all my out-of-tower questions. There are plenty of other snacks and drinks to load up on if needed.

Not sure why people say it's not friendly to cyclists. Me and my wife came into town on a Tuesday and Rock City was the only food option. We went in and they made us a pizza on the spot and brought it out to us at their picnic table. Kim went out of her way to be so nice to us. And the pizza was yummy.

Stopped in during my bike vacation on the GAP trail. It had rained all night and the trail was muddy and our bikes were covered. As I was making a purchase I asked the cashier if he could turn on the hose for us to rinse off our bikes. His answer was “ the owner wouldn’t allow it” I kinda rolled my eyes and then he muttered “for a tourist “. It takes little to no effort to be a decent human being and this poor example of one clearly failed miserably.

Good hot sandwich for reasonable price. Homemade ham salad and pasta salad and much more. THEY pump your gas... Usually $.25 less than Somerset...accept debit and credit

Been going here for 15 years, and for awhile I always thought the people running the store were jerks. But once I got to know them, they are down to earth blue collar folks. They have their bad days like everyone else, but they are good people. Love their selection of lunchtime food. And the drink selection. I love patronizing this place, and if I am in the area, 10 out of 10 times I will stop here over going to S&S. Hands down the best food in town for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend!!
