Big thanks to Katie, Drew and Erin who have groomed my dog, Mel. They take great care of your dog and go above and beyond to make them look great! I dropped Mel off yesterday and when I picked him up, he was one handsome pup!!! I highly recommend them for your pets' grooming needs!

I have been searching for the best grooming place for my dog for the past year and Katie’s Pet Grooming is nothing short of perfection each time I get my baby back. They always nail the exact description of cut I want and never had issues with matting( never shaved my cavapoo completely down). I recommend this place to my fellow dog owners too!

I brought my 4 year old bernedoodle, Tad, in for his first cut here today. I’m not from the area, and rely heavily on google reviews for making decisions on things like groomers, so figured I’d write a review with all the things people seem to care about. For context, Tad and I have been to two other groomers in the area. However I felt like every time he came back looking a little too “poodley” (I know he’s a doodle but I like the more shaggy look). I then decided that maybe I’d try to keep up with his grooming myself, but that got to the point where despite brushing him everyday i just couldn’t keep up and he was getting matted. So we went back to the grooming drawing board. I love to over-research things so spent like 3 hours reading reviews of groomers in the area and articles on what to look for in groomers, etc. I was hoping to find a place that cares about my dog and his well-being, listened to and collaborated with me regarding his cut, and lastly felt comfortable (for my anxiety and consider I work from home and so Tad has some mild separation anxiety). The summary is I feel like we have found our new spot. Its really easy to book with them. They don’t typically seem to answer the phone but Drew will text the number that calls and you can book that way. They were super flexible with availability and have weekend/later weekday appointments. They are not cage-free but after reading about cage free pros and cons I actually prefer cage/kenneled for safety reasons. The facility is a room about the size of a postage stamp, but they use their space efficiently and you certainly know your dog is within their sight at all times. This is not an aesthetically pleasing doggy spa, but I much prefer knowing I’m not paying for the decor but instead just a good groom. When we got to our appointment the groomer was so nice and we discussed what I wanted. She was very honest in that he would have to be shaved because of how matted he was (which I had a feeling would be the case) and I appreciated that she then asked what I wanted to do with his face and tail. In the past groomers haven’t asked this and he has come back looking like a cartoon character with a shaggy tail, huge fluffy face and a skinny body. When I came to get him. He honestly seemed less closely shaved than I had expected (which was great because i had mentioned as long as possible though that might be challenging given the circumstances). The groomer let me know that on one leg she did have to go a little shorter due to the matts. I honestly couldn’t tell you which leg is cut shorter, you really can’t tell, but I appreciated that she told me. She also did an amazing job with his face and tail where he doesn’t look ridiculous. Typically I’d want them fluffier, but as I mentioned like that they were proportionate to his body and not cartooney given the shave was necessary. We discussed ways in which I could keep him longer in the future and bring him in for upkeep. Tad is pretty barkey (he gets in moods where he barks at me at home) and was doing that while I was trying to pay so the groomer came over to pet him while I finished up. The whole experience was very chill and pleasant. Also, when I got home I noticed that I think they gave his collar and attached AirTag holder, which both are kind of a rubbery material, a quick rinse too. It is definitely the cleanest it’s been in a while.Important to note: They only take cash or checks. The price was pretty comparable to what I’ve paid elsewhere which I’m happy with considering the flexible appointment options, great people, great groom, how matted he was, and he was ready about an hour sooner than either place I’ve been to before.

Love Katie’s!! They did a great job on my puppy’s first groom…just had her there for her first real groom with Erin..and she came out gorgeous! Her cut was on point…and she didn’t miss a detail.Erin was soo sweet and great at what she does. She made sure she was clear on what I wanted. She called me to let me know that she may have to deviate a bit bc of some matting and gave me the choice..she was able to fix the issue, without taking away from her cut. I appreciated the communication. :) I felt 100% comfortable leaving my baby. And to top it off, they were able to accommodate my terrible allergies.

I’ve been taking my yorkipoo here for months- they always do a spectacular job with my haircut requests! It’s hard to find places I trust with my dog, but every groomer I’ve met here has been super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

I asked for a full package grooming (bath, haircut, ears, nails, teeth brushing and sanitation (anal glands) cleaning. I was quoted $65-$75. They end up charging me $95, which I am fine with if they actually perform the services. They did not clean his ears, cut his nails or brushed his teeth. They only gave him a bath and cut. At this point, I'm not even sure if they did the sanitation area. There was only one person working and doing everything. I am disappointed since they had such great reviews. I really wanted to find a groomer that I can go to permanently.

After trying many groomers in the area and never loving the finished product for our goldendoodle, the search is over! We love Katie’s Pet Grooming and look forward to be being regulars!

We took our puppies there and we absolutely loved their haircuts. Our golden doodle is 50lbs and our 12lbs Japanese chin smelled great. Rosie has anxiety and we are happy that she was okay for them. We will definitely be making regular visits to Katie's pet grooming.

I took my dog to this groomer for the first time and was specific about the very short cut I wanted. When I picked her up she was too long and unbelievably uneven. I waited while they "fixed" the cut. Since you drop and pick up in a dark stairwell it was impossible to really examine my dog all over. When I got her home I realized one back leg had not been completed and her face and head area was way too long and grossly uneven. The cost $70 plus the $10 tip is not good value for your money. In fairness the owner offered to have me bring her back but how many times should it take? Go somewhere else!
