Great shop owners, very friendly and knowledgeable. I've made countless purchases from their in-stock store, both new and used firearms. Special ordered a specific rifle or two, as well as have all my online transfers sent here. Never anything but smooth transactions.Excellent place to go for all your firearm needs. Been my go to guys for years. Always get what I need for a good price. Very knowledgeable and friendly. If they don’t have what you want on hand it’ll be on the way in no time. Store is always nice and clean and so is their workshop, that’s important to a guy like me.

Had an extractor fail on my 1911. Had the extractor replaced and had a feeding issue afterwards. Looked up local gunsmiths and found Superior Gunsmithing. They took my 1911 and made it as good as new. When having the feeding issue I could not get through a single magazine without an issue. Took it to the range yesterday and shot over 200 rounds without an issue. Very happy with the work and will be coming back with any future gun issues.

I've been dealing with JC and Dennis at Superior Gunsmithing for several years. Every job they've done on my firearms has been extremely well done. They pay attention to detail and have offered good advice when needed. They are both very personable and helpful. I wouldn't want anyone else working on my guns.

I don't review many businesses however, I think this workmanship, detail, and art is worth the recognition. Back in Jan 2022 my brother was moving my safe after we moved to our new apartment. Little did he know that my pistols fell from the top to the bottom and took a good chunk out of my Sako FinBear Rifle gifted to me from my Grandfather. More heart broken then my last ex I desperately tried to find a gunsmith/stock repairman that would be able to fix such a nasty and hard to repair stock. I found Superior Gunsmithing in Pennsylvania and Dennis said bring it up and I can take a look. He said he would be able to fix it however, he just got Eye surgery and to come back at a later date if his eye is up to snuff again. Fast forward to December 2022 I took it to him to finally get it repaired. He originally told me March he would finish it (which he did). But when I called he said it wasn't complete yet. So today I finally got a call saying he completed it. Upon getting there and picking the rifle up he said that he actually redid it since he wasn't quite happy with the color of the fix the first time around, hence the extra wait. I'm thrilled to the moon on the craftsmanship of this and if you need any work done (stock/metal work) I would highly recommend Superior Gunsmithing in Pennsylvania.

Very helpful & kind! Had a forend nut from a shotgun that just wouldn't come loose. Brought it into the shop and it was removed, refinished, & I was sent on my way within 10 minutes being told its on the house. Will definitely be going back for my firearm needs!

Lazy gunsmith. So much to the point his own extended family doesn't even come to JC for work. Constantly complains about all the work he has and how much pain he's in since the car accident, and then regularly posts on Facebook his perpetual vacations he's taking. Feel bad for the father. There are plenty of good quality gunsmiths around that have better turnaround times

Would highly recommend this shop to anyone! JC and his dad are awesome guys and extremely helpful! I was in a pinch and he did something out of the ordinary for me to make sure my gun was sighted in properly when I was having problems sighting it in.
