It is a beautiful church and the people were kind but the theology seemed off. They served leavened bread for a weekly communion they do. It is supposed to be unleavened. The leaven stands for sin. Their is no sin in Jesus so that is why unleavened bread is to be used in the communion. Also, they did a demonstration of a “holy” cow for the children to explain the Holy Spirit. There is no holy cow and one shouldn’t be used in a church of God to explain the Holy Spirit. The “holy” cow I recall from the Bible was destroyed and all those who worshiped it were destroyed in Exodus. I’m not saying they purposefully are worshiping a cow, but I am saying they need to do their homework. Also, the head pastor seems to not agree with the basic biblical truth that men were made to lead. The head pastor is a woman. She believes the church is patriarchal system that oppressed woman. I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding by her that a follower is not of less value then the leader.I believe in what the Bible says and it says that woman and men are equal in value, but not in role. Men are to lead and woman are to submit in the marriage and church. A woman should not be a head pastor. If you just want to socialize this may be a good place to go. If you want to worship the Lord you may want to go elsewhere until they make some major changes.I’ve been to several churches across the country over the past month and this is the most unbiblical one in its teachings.

Super pastors, many opportunities for fellowship (both formal and informal) with a great variety of people, and many, many ways to serve...for what more could one ask?

I grew up in this wonderful church and return whenever I can. The guidance, friendships, (and food) I received and continue to receive from Trinity and its members are key positive influences in my life.
