“New to the area but plan on staying for a while! Although I plan on getting a washer and dryer I don’t have one at the present moment with dirty clothes piling up. I am busy nurse/mama so I am into convenience. I walked in with a couple of loads and a blanket and dropped them off. Price was reasonable, she even worked with me on not drying my throw blanket, offered bleach, got the loads done before my shift! Overall I will be back even after I get my washer and dryer! Thank you!”

“Overall a great laundromat, I've only had one bad experience with this place and I've noticed that this happens at a lot of laundromats when they are super busy.”

“I've been going to Bright Laundry since it opened up in Upper Darby where I lived now that I recently moved I continue to use this Laundromat because it's clean and the staff are pleasant and you feel welcomed and comfortable they are helpful when you have an issue with a washer or dryer which rarely happens. This place deserves 5 stars and I recommend this business to everyone.?”

“Clean, different options for load sizes and costs, machines are in good working order, and there's even a fun vintage "pinball" machine where you win a ball with each play (25¢) ~ would give full 5 stars but on a hot day, even with fans, it's really hot (but I'd prefer that to higher costs to use the machines). There's a box with donated books & a magazine bin and a few other donated odds & ends ~ very obviously a caring community.”

“I took my suit jacket here before my wedding. They did an amazing job on taking the collar in to get rid of the collar roll on the upper back. Reasonable time frame for such a job as well!”

“I come here because it’s convenient and pretty clean. The attendant there is really always watching his TV or reading. Can be friendly if you engage in conversation. But doesn’t bother you.Bring your own snacks if your going to be there for a lil while washing clothes. The vending machine prices are HIGH.There is enough parking, so your good. There are only 4 big washers so if your looking for those it can be a wait. But it’s a pretty good place to wash your clothes.”

“Went for clothing alterations. Had the changes pinned by the guy behind the counter who was super nice and helpful. Picked them up a week later and they were expertly done. For example, I have a two layer chiffon-type fabric top and she sewed the layers separately (probably more than double the work and beyond what I would have expected).Highly recommend.”

“1. It's a laundromat. Washers work and in good condition. Thats really all there is to judge. ?2. As long as clothes are clean, its a decent laundromat. 3. Days I went (holidays and weekends) it wasn't overcrowded and people were friendly.”

“Decent spot on Locust & 42nd. Wash: single $1.75, dbl $2.50, triple $5.25 (but they seem much larger, like wash everything).Dryer: 6 min $.25 took about $1.50 to dry (chill vibe, no TV which is good for me, but overall not the cleanest laundrette) but, two folks working (cleaning?). Seems like more popular as a drop off spot.) Not a ton of seats. But great location, easy errand moment. Pop out bc close to CVS, Supremo grocery, and other spots. (NOTE: had an issue with a dryer not drying, reported, and refund immediate. Solid.) Could use a deep clean overall, and, the machines themselves were decent. I'm greatful they're in my neighborhood. (Also, strong fonts everywhere:) ?”

“I recently moved, so unfortunately he is no longer my dry cleaner, but the owner was incredibly meticulous with my clothes. I really appreciated how careful he was with my garments being that I’ve had garments ruined in the past by other dry cleaners. He also charges fair prices and performs his work fairly quickly. I definitely recommend that, if you live in the area, you give him a try. Hoping my new dry cleaner is just as good as he is!”

“Very good place for dry cleaning, sew ons, and sew repairs. I can't say anything more that hasn't already been said about this place. The lady here, who always takes my order, maybe it's only her, judging by the other reviews, but she does great work.”

“Very nice stuff, all their washing and dryers were affordable and they were all working and the the store was very clean and prices were good and once you put money on your card you get free dryers to dry lol. Overall I had an excellent experience there and will recommend it to anyone and I will continue to use it myself. But the woman who worked there was very nice and helped me with what I needed.....”

“Nice laundry very clean. Sometimes the lady doesn't know how to talk to people at times I just ignore her. But all people ain't like me I'm afraid her mouth is going to get her in trouble one day.”

“I started bringing my clothes here when I was a student at Villanova and have been a customer ever since! I even moved to Conshohocken for several years and had a dry cleaner right across the street from my apartment but still made the 20 minute drive to bring my clothes to Sun Cleaners because I love/trust the quality of their work. The prices are reasonable and my things come back looking brand new every single time (and I've brought all types of things in like cashmere sweaters, silk shirts, wool jackets, velvet gowns, etc). Quick turnaround, friendly service, high quality cleaning....and lollipops (extra selling point).”

“First and foremost I’d just like to say the owners of Essex’s Cleaners are amazing people and business owners! This is the first time I’ve used Essex’s Cleaners and they did a top notch job at cleaning and pressing my uniforms. They even came in during off business hours to allow me to pick up my uniforms. I cannot speak highly enough about Essex’s Cleaners and will not hesitate to return back!Services: Clothes pressing”
