In the last few weeks I found myself in need of assistance from a funeral home. In fact, I had about 48 hours to put something in place. Without hesitation, I reached out to Katharine at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services for help. She responded quickly and was very willing to help and went above and beyond my request. What I asked was probably not the usual, however, all things considered, she made it perfect. I wanted to express our gratitude for everything! Thank you so very much!

Katherine and Nathan were so amazing when my dad suddenly surrendered to his battle with cancer.
The compassion and care that they put into his funeral was amazing. Katherine was especially warm, kind and comforting. She handled every detail, and gave us the space to appropriately grieve our loss and remember a great man.
No one likes to talk about death but it’s something that has to happen, and I’d trust Wagner-Elfner and Burg to care and honor myself or any of my loved ones when the time comes.

Highly recommend! When you have a sudden and unexpected need for this type of service you want someone who is professional, compassionate and thorough to guide you thru the process. That is exactly what I found with Katharine @ WEB!! She was absolutely wonderful! When my Dad passed away recently she guided me thru the whole unfamiliar process with empathy, professionalism and expediency. Such a positive experience in the face of a heartbreaking loss.

I am forever thankful for the kindness provided by Katharin and Nathan. I was at a loss for passing of my mom as I did not expect it to come so soon. Katharin helped me through a very difficult time in my life with compassion and care. Without her I am not sure what would have happened to my mom as I was not prepared for this. I can not say enough about this company. I have never worked with a funeral home before. They were compassionate and helped us during this hard time of my dad’s passing. No matter what questions I had, they were there with the answers. They even took care of my dad’s veterans benefits with the presentation of a beautiful flag. This flag will continue on in our family for generations to come. Thank you so much.

I just want to say what a fabulous funeral home. When my loved one passed away they were very timely in arriving to our home. They allowed us as much time as we wanted before taking her to their funeral home. The men that came were Dakota and Mr. Elfner( I apologize for not knowing his first name) they were compassionate and kind. After the service that they provided (cremation) I called and asked to borrow easels for the celebration of life about 3 weeks after her death. I contacted the funeral home via Facebook messenger. I was directed on how to contact Katherine. Katherine personally reached out to me and directed me how to pick up the easels. During the most difficult times in our lives we need those in the service of funeral directors to be compassionate, sympathetic,empathetic and kind . At wagner-elfner & burg you will find all those attributes.

We lost my nephew on April 5th. He passed away out of state and the family was lost not knowing, what to do . Someone recommended Wagner-Elfner and Burg. From the moment we walked in the door to the end of the funeral Katharine was there to support the family. Katharines kindess her professional and her knowledge made it so much easier to make arrangements for our loved one. Katharine and her husband go above and beyond to make it right and to make sure your loved one is laid to rest with respect and dignity. On the day of the viewing Katharine and staff was there to support us in anything needed. Again , they went way above what you think are their duties. Super nice, caring, understanding and you know your loved one mattered. I highly recommend them when needed.

Wagner-Elfner and Burg is hands down the best, most attentive, prompt, and compassionate funeral home in our area. There is no other choice if you are looking for a dignified and affordable experience for your loved one and your family. I don't usually leave Google reviews, but this one was important to us. Katherine and the staff are top notch professionals and went out of their way to help our father work through the details and understand his options, which was not easy for him as he was mourning the loss of our mother. If you expect integrity, timeliness, transparency, and dignity, choose Wagner-Elfner and Burg.

She walked me through a very difficult and emotional situation with immense kindness. I appreciated her attention to all the details that mattered to me & my children.
