“After numerous people recommending John Wright, my wife and I decided to give it a try for our anniversary dinner. We did make a reservation. Everything was excellent - from the time we walked in til we walked out. Our server was very friendly, attentive and knew the menu well. The crab and corn risotto starter was absolutely delicious. I could order just several of those and be happy. I had the crab stuffed Mahi Mahi - it was so good, I was sad when it was gone haha. My wife had the seafood manicotti. Another fantastic dish we'd order again. The dessert was a light but mouth watering cheesecake. We can't wait for a little warmer weather to dine outside. The view of the river is great from inside but even better when we walked out to the patio.”
“So I will preface this by saying that we have been coming here for 4 years. The past two times we have ordered the chefs table and last year it was excellent!This year it was all excellent except for the entree which was disappointing. We even opted for the wine pairing which didn’t make much sense for the entree.It started with a chilled cucumber soup, bruschetta with heated fresh mozzarella, an exquisite duck and gnocchi plate….Then comes the entree which was dry breaded fluke over flavorless couscous with asparagus. The only part of this entree that was good was the asparagus. It was like this dish came from a completely different restaurant. The wine pairing was red.. for a fish? The whole thing was odd.The desert was a delicious pomegranate and cherry sorbet.So they missed the mark on this one. Too expensive if they’re going to cheap out on the main course.”
