I have been using this Rite Aid for prescriptions for many years. I have always received good service. Today, a last minute prescription was phoned in, and it was filled right away.

I love the Rite Aid in Red Lion on Lombard and William is an awesome employee. He is what all associates should aspire to be.

I left Rite Aid on Leader Heights because of the awful customer service and it’s even worse at this Rite Aid.

This place has the absolute worst customer service from the top management all the way down to cashiers. I dread going there. They’re literally the worst people to go to if you have a problem. They get defensive and mean instead of trying to help. Just a heads up. I think his name is Steve. He’s a pharmacy technician. He’s told me before he was as a pharmacist and he isn’t. Go to CVS across the street. They’re 100% better.

My son had his 1st ear infection today & I sent my mil to pick up the script. I called ahead of time to see when it would be ready since she was in the area. Staff said 20 to 30 min. I'll bump up your script. My mil came home with children's dye free Tylenol. Which was not the script I needed. The Tylenol was already picked up 1 to 2 weeks earlier.Confused I called & spoke to someone in the pharmacy & told her that the wrong med was given to my mil. That Tylenol wasn't for an ear infection & I needed the script for his infection. I then said that the Tylenol was picked up a couple of weeks ago so I wasn't sure why they gave us another bottle. She put me on hold then came back to tell me his ear meds were already picked up. To which I once again stated that it wasn't & all we got was dye free Tylenol. She then said that that was my replacement bottle of dye free Tylenol. We are a dye free family & they missed the dye free part on the original script & gave us Tylenol with dye in it.I explained tonight over the phone about previously speaking to the pharmacist about the tylenol issue & that they told me to come back in & exchange it for the dye free & that they'd have it ready for me to pick up. When I tried to do this that next day & exchange the bottle the woman @ drive thru told me that I already had dye free Tylenol even though the bottle wasn't labeled dye free. I pointed this out to her & told her what the pharmacist said but they didn't have anything in the computer about another bottle. She then told me that she was the one who filled the script & that it was dye free & said you have nothing to worry about & sent me on my way. Realizing now after speaking to this other lady tonight & seeing this other bottle labeled dye free that I was lied to by the lady @ drive-thru who apparently couldn't be bothered to be honest & deal with a customer for whatever reason. The lady tonight from the pharmacy questioned if I had a script for the ear meds & if he even had an ear infection & asked the name of the med to which I replied that I didn't know bc the dr didn't say what it was. He just told me that he was sending a script to the pharmacy for his infection. She then looked into the system again & finally found it & apologized for the inconvenience of the Tylenol issue & tonights meds. I've also had issues in the past where they've told me my scripts will be ready @ a certain time & I go only to find out they haven't filled it bc they didnt have it etc. like they told me when I'd call. Then tell me to come back the next day only to find out again I'd have to wait another day to be told on the 3rd day that they didn't have it & had to send script to CVS.For years I've loved this pharmacy & had no issues up until covid. Now they have a lack of staff & patient communication, some staff are lazy, etc. Not putting up with this anymore & am going elsewhere.

Lots.of mistakes made that I have to fix and very hard to fix unless a Pharmacist is available. Overall good in 30 years of use.

Every time I come here the people who work in the pharmacy are absolutely miserable. No matter the time of day! Maybe need to have a annual training class for having a personality and smile when customers come in..

The female pharmacist Brittany was speaking to a co worker about a customer in the drive thru tonight in front of other customers. She was talking very harsh and I was quite shocked and uncomfortable.
