I swear this bank stays afloat by charging you fees they shouldn’t be charging you then lie about it! This is literally the only bank I’ve ever used that will bounce a check on you even when the funds are in your account and you have proof of it. This has happened so many times I started taking screenshots of my account as proof AND they still say I’m wrong!

Don't ever use them they will hit you with a bunch of fees if your account goes in the negative and won't work with you to fix it.

Went in the cash a check my buddy was signing over to me. Tried to tell the teller 3 times that the check is going to me and not him. She said since she couldn't find his account "there's nothing I can do with this." Then slid me and card and check over with the biggest attitude ever. Girls attitude is worse than the economy. I asked her what's wrong with the check. Girl literally said nothing. Asked her again, no response. Tell me your miserable without telling me your miserable.

Think twice before signing up with a bank that will charge you automatically for allowing other charges to come out even when you don’t have the money in your account. They did this to me ON MY BIRTHDAY, and gave me the basic excuse of there’s nothing they can do. Find a bank that supports you and wants to help you KEEP your money not just take or steal it any chance they get!!!

I would give Zero stars if I could. This branch is so unprofessional compared to every other members 1st I've been at and thanks to them, Im now leaving your company for good after 13 years later. I pulled out a Loan at the Harrisburg location in 2018, got the Member Value protection included. I got laid off work in December 2019 due to covid, they wanted to argue with me that im off due to a seasonal lay off and they would not honor the "MVP" protection saying the contract says it can't be a seasonal layoff??? Even though they've been charging me over $500 since I opened it for the extra protection of the "MVP" OH AND IM LAID OFF FOR THE SEASON SINCE DECEMBER 2019 YET IM STILL NOT WORKINGG AGAIN. I've been a loyal member with Members 1st since I was 14 years old! Never ever had a different bank. After this situation, I planned on leaving this company for good but obviously I had to pay off my loan first since they didn't want to help me out. Have fun screwing people. Im done.

We went here because it is the closest branch. We dealt with long wait times and slow workers. We kept giving them another chance. Recently we went to withdraw funds from one of our accounts. They refused to help us. We were going to close this account. They refused to let us. They said you need to come inside. We said okay. Then they said we can’t bring anyone inside and the managers are busy. We said, just bring the paperwork to the door or let us withdraw most of the funds and close the account later. They refused. No cars were in the parking lot so I don’t understand how they were full. We have other accounts with this company but if their service keeps deteriorating we will not stay with them. Beware of this company.

Rarely answer phones. Dont expect to get any kind of personal loan. Doesnt matter how much you make, own a house, and have a co-signer. They will tell you theres not enough disposable income.

More like MEMBERS LAST. They do NOT put you 1st. They are so quick to charge late fees and even in times of Covid-19. They don’t care if you don’t have any income. They don’t have any programs to help. They will keep charging late fees and not remove them. No remorse for their customers at all. I had some money come in from a GoFund me for my father’s funeral expenses and they were harassing me about the money. They wanted me to use that money to pay my loan. I was absolutely appalled by this. These people don’t care. My father just passed and they just wanted their money!! Disgusting bank. Go somewhere else, not worth the stress.

After leaving a message with a department in how I felt I was not treated with appropriate customer service, Stephanie contacted me today and addressed my concerns. It meant a lot to be heard and know that someone is listening. That is the first time I have ever had any business or bank actually take my concerns seriously, and it means a lot (particularly as someone who works in customer service and values the job). Thank you! I previously left a review not recommending this bank, but my encounter with Stephanie (and another customer service rep this weekend who was very kind) has made me feel folks at this bank do care.

I have been banking with them for 6 years. Everything was good until just recently with the whole thing going on in the world. They decided to close my checking account with out telling me. Then they said they couldnt do anything to help me.

Needed a document notarized and they would not do it. Closed account and opened an account with a nearby bank.
