Took my truck to this shop for a transmission issue . Dealing with the owner Matt , he is about as stand up as you are going to find . Very upfront and to the point. The issue was taken care of after some back and forth none of which was the shop he was dealing with a warranty company that insisted he use their parts to which were bad twice ! I would highly recommend Matt and his team for your automotive needs . The guys there are top notch and never let their customer questioning what’s going on.

My husband and I both had work done on our vehicles, one month apart. I had to get a new transmission and he had quite a few things that needed to be addressed. The communication with Matt and the team at KDM was great and the work was amazing. We have begun to refer family and friends to them. You will not be disappointed!

Update: While I still believe they broke my oil return line, they have done a lot to ensure I stay a customer. My check engine light came on a couple times more. Under warranty they attempted to fix the problem each time. While my check engine light did not come back on, my air has shut off two days after picking up my car. (Definitely unrelated I'm sure). Anyways. Matt had apologized for the inconveniences and had ensured I understood what was happening and why.
Update: It is Thursday and my check engine light came on on my way to work. Honestly, not surprised.
I wanted to like this place. I am brand new to the area and was looking for a mechanic shop who I can go to for all mine and my fiances car services. I went in for a catalytic converter and exhaust pipe replacement. The man told me that my car burns through oil faster than others since I have a Trax (keep this in mind)... That went well. Picked up my car Sat, didn't drive all weekend, drove it Monday. Monday morning it was completely out of oil. Leaking, from right where they were working. Called them Monday, I asked about it and took it back in. They told me that there was no possible way that they cracked the oil return line. Honestly, I should've taken it somewhere else when they didn't own up to their mistake. I had them fix it and the man on the phone (who I should add was nice and patient), then said "we will add in an oil change for free since you've done so much business with us the past 7 days." Lmao there is no oil in the car, you aren't changing it you're putting oil in it. I asked if they could at least top off my coolant too. He said yes. I ended up calling around to different mechanics in the vicinity, who all told me that the piece can easily be broken and if working in that area, it can even be broken if a Wrench taps it the wrong way. Interesting. All places quoted the job $200 - 300 less than what KDM charged me. Part was less, labor was less, etc... They also never topped off my coolant. I spent about a months worth of pay at this place within the past 4 days. That should say something. I have more to add, but I have a character limit. Needless to say I will only be back if those pieces break again, since I have a lifetime warranty on them and I will actually be reccomending people to never go here. Unfortunate, but accountability is everything to me and this place doesn't have it.

Very poor experience with KDM. I took my BMW Z4 in for repairs and inspection. They assured me that they stand behind their work provided I buy genuine BMW parts, which I did. Part of the job included refastening the back panel of the driver's seat, which had become detached. Within two weeks, I noticed that the panel had become detached again. I called to notify them right away, and was told to bring the car back in for repair. After examining it they said that they could not fix it. I ask for a refund of the $150 that was part of a nearly $4,000 bill I paid. They refused to reimburse me or do anything to rectify the situation. I will never go back. I advise anyone considering KDM automotive to consider other options.

Had problems with Nissan dealer in York. These guys stepped up and helped me. They did a fantastic job in replacing my transmission and other things I needed done. I am going to always take my car there!!! I recommend them they did a fantastic job at a reasonable price!! I didn't have a ride home when I dropped off my car was going to get a urber and they said they would drive me home!!!

Took my car in for inspection and oil. Dropped it off early due to holiday plans but apparently left the door ajar in my hurry and a storm popped it back open. They went above and beyond making sure it wasn't a break in, and helped dry out my car at no extra cost. Completely up front and honest even though it turned out to be nothing. Will definitely be back!

Had to get my transmission replaced and I gotta say, what a great experience. Having to get such an expensive part replaced sucks, sure, but these guys made it a silky smooth process. They were communicative the whole time, gave me an accurate quote up front, and let me know ASAP when they ran into anything. The owner has respect for your time, and most importantly, your money. Will certainly be recommending to friends and family!

Called yesterday and they were able to put brakes and rotors, that I purchased, on my vehicle today. Very nice and affordable. Will definitely be going back for future work.

Brought in my 2009 Ford escape, they brought me home because I didn't have a ride home and it was cold. They send you pictures through text message and show you what's wrong and what needs fixed, I brought it in for a safety inspection because another shop didn't do a good job. These guys are very respectful, the pictures are detailed and they give advice if you decline a repair, unless it's very bad. Since I got my car serviced, it's been moving really smooth, my control arm snapped, and I didn't know until I brought it here, would come again, but I'm moving out of red lion soon.Edit 1: car has driven 300 miles since repair and work amazingly, thanks!

Went to get my electrical checked out for license plate tag lighting. They got it diagnosed and fixed that same day. Great service all around. Will definitely comeback for any other service needed on my truck.

My fiance and I came in to get our 2003 dodge neon sxt diagnosed and test drove. The owner answered all of our questions and told us about how much everything would cost. Definitely pleased with the fact we could do a payment plan instead of having to come up with the money. 10 out of 10 recommend!
