“Harbor Freight is… well, Harbor Freight. You get what you need and it doesn’t cost as much as the big boy stores like Lowe’s and Home Depot. The lines to pay are not always as quick but… there is always something to look at while you wait.”

“I was in need of new window screens for my house. I had one old screen frame as a model. I called around to different hardware stores and finally found out that Fricke's was one of the few stores who still build, repair, and re-screen screens for windows. All of the employees there were very helpful and I can tell that they all work hard to make this store a great place in the community. Great experience. Highly recommend.”

“Lowes in York Pennsylvania is spacious, stocked well with everything for the home for repairs and upgrades. An employee can be easily located for assistance if aneeded. Cleaning supplies are abundant, seasonal items can be found there as well as outdoor grilling and landscaping needs. There are many garden plants to choose from and things for outdoor maintenance.”

“This is the best Home Depot that I've ever been in not only is the customer service experience great here but the store is never super crowded very clean very organized I work in Baltimore and live in York so I stopped in this Home Depot to pick up materials on my way to job sites all the time I prefer it over any of the Home Depots in Baltimore”
“Solid location with easy access and ample parking even for large vehicles with trailers. The people are nice and customer service is quick and efficient. Stock for most things is good with plenty of options for most products when building. I am docking them one star though since the finishing product could be better. I find the selection of things like lights, faucets and such could be more expansive.I suggest using the Home Depot app on your phone and switch to store mode when shopping. Sometimes things aren’t where you expect and this will make locating product easier.In a pinch you can always use ship to store although I find ship to home to be faster. They do offer curbside and locker pickup as well.”

“Visiting helping my mother, I went in looking for some flooring as well as a water heater. A young man named Cam asked if he could help me, and proceeded to amicably assist me with my issues with flooring and then in plumbing as well. It's rare to find someone knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. He did. Awesome kid, he should be on the management track, hope he does well.”

“I recently bought a Weber Grill from Rick's Ace Hardware. I had been looking to find a grill that fit my needs. I traveled to several stores and in most cases did not find anyone to answer my questions or help me discern which of the many Weber options met my needs. So I called George one night to see if they had Weber's in stock. He asked me how I used the grill and what features were important to me. I came into the store and we sat in front of the computer and narrowed our choices until it was clear what was the best fit. It arrived in the store in 2 days and was delivered assembled to my deck. The old one was taken to the garage. George went above and beyond.... Ace now has a customer for life..”
