My husband and I contracted Home Depot (Lead/PO # 11091903) to replace all 14 windows in our home. The Measure Tech was DAVID WEAVER. The ISM was KEVIN SMITH. The sales consultant was James D Bayout. Contract total: $14,859.9, Deposite: $4,000. We signed this contacted on 7/27/2021. Initially the lead time for the windows was a few weeks but that turned into months. The scheduled date for the window replacements was 11/8/2021. Only 11/14 windows were installed. The remaining 3 windows were incorrectly marked/measured so they did not match the dimensions of my windows. The issue was that the installers removed my kitchen window and after realized the replacement window did not match in measurements with my window. The installers called KEVIN SMITH to advice on how to proceed (he did not know he was on speaker) and he told the installers "I DONT CARE JUST MAKE IT FIT SOMEHOW". The installers told him that it was not possible because the replacement window was too small to "make it fit". The installers put a board on my kitchen window and left. The two other windows were never replaced, luckily they doubled check the measurements after the kitchen window incident. November 18, 2021 KEVIN SMITH called and left a voicemail that we would not continue to be harassed about payment until the job was completed and that unfortunately he did not have an ETA for the windows (I have the voicemail saved). February 2022 Home Depot still had no lead time on my replacement windows. We decided to cancel the remaining contract and get a local store to replace my kitchen window, at this point 3 months had passed. Feb 4th, 2022 BRIAN DUDLEY called and left a voicemail regarding amending the contract (still had no lead time which is the reason we were able to terminate the contract). KEVEIN SMITH apologized and swore that he would deduct from the amended contract since they remove and boarded my kitchen window. We signed the amended contract and reach out to KEVIN SMITH regarding the “deduction” since my kitchen window had to be replaced. KEVIN just stopped answering our calls and emails all together. August 2, 2022 KEVIN SMITH still refuses to reach out. However, multiple Home Depot reps (specifically Camilla) have called and left voicemails regarding payment and a resolution but KEVIN SMITH continues to refuse. I have no problem submitting the remaining payment but something needs to be accommodated in the final bill. I was left with a boarded window, at no fault of my own, actions directly made by Home Depot contractors! According to KEVIN SMITH he already deducted from the remaining balance $4,831.70 but that was NOT A DEDUCTION that was an amendment to the contract since they did not replace 3 windows. They did not replacement 3 windows therefore and logically they cannot charge for an order that was never completed nor fulfill. If you take a look at the amended contract ENTRY 1 & ENTRY 2 windows are my main entrance window (it was a two piece window). It was never replaced. Kitchen 8 window was the window they removed and boarded. Bedroom 3- 15 window: is a bedroom window that was never replaced. The windows never replaced and the window boarded up total: $4,831.70…so that is not a deduction it is simply work never completed. Windows are custom/special order so once they are made they cannot be refunded (per the contract), since my windows were never made MONTHS after the contract, an amended to the contract was possible. However, I am left with a boarded window…make it make sense! I will submit a BBB claim as well. This has been a nightmare!

We purchased an countertop on Jan 26 and was told delivery was to be Feb 5. We checked and they said it was changed to Feb 8. Still no countertop so I went on chat and they told me it was scheduled for delivery on Feb 12. Well surprise checked on it today and it was changed to Feb 15. I can’t tell you how frustrated and upset I am am waiting for this delivery so I found the corporate number and called them. Well surprise I talked to another idiot who told me it was supposed to be delivered on Feb 8. He didn’t even know the date was changed another genius at Home Depot. I don’t care if I have to pay three times the cost elsewhere I will never shop Home Depot ever again and I will be cutting up our credit cards for there.

More water on my floor. So I call Home Depot they give me another number to call. After getting lost in their computer menu we don’t want to actually help you phone system I get a person, who puts me right back into the menu system. So I hit sells yeah that got me a person. "WARNING" I purchased 12 bags of cheap mulch $2.00 per bag 1 of them full with termites. I saw them only after I dump the mulch on the ground and at first didn't know what they were. For a week I work hard to get rid of them put all kinds of chemicals, lay the mulch on the cement in the sun for 2 days and when I checked I still found some alive. By now who knows where they found a place to destroy. I put all the mulch total of 3 bags in a big plastic bag but now the question

I saw play sand on their website for $3.75 per bag and drove right past Lowe's to go purchase 12 bags. So I find the play sand and it's $4.15 per bag. I take it to customer service and they say it isn't the same brand. So I asked him to price match it and he said they have another brand in the garden center for $3.98 per bag. At this point I'm just looking at him and thinking does this guy really expect me to go all the way to the other end of the store and go outside to the garden center and load 600 pounds of sand to save a couple dollars? I ended up just paying the $4.15 per bag and walking out of there for the last time. I will go to Lowe's for now on. The customer service is better and the store is way superior.
